To me its not worth the accounting work straight up. I suppose if I was pulling 140k annually scalping and swing crypto then it would be worth it. BOIL contracts are rolled every other month and they get the month ahead. The rolls last 5 business days starting on the 6th business day of the month. The most recent was this month and the contracts rolled from May to July. Next roll will be June to the Sept contract.

Also take note that contract rolls can be fucked times to hold. You're a member of a shared fund, and as a group you're selling one contract and buying the next. This last one was selling low and buying high so it took a few dives during the process. If you look at the BOIL chart, that low near $3 happened on the final day of contract rolling and from then on it's been the July contract.
