There have been plenty of times when I bought into a coin, it went down a lot, then I panic-sold and tried another coin. A lot of those times I was right to sell because even to this day those coins never recovered and some either crashed forever or exit-scammed. Redline's USTC repeg plan won't go anywhere. it depends on CEXs forcefully keeping liquidity in place during depeg events through a progressive off-chain Tobin tax. it's the IRL equivalent of stopping a bank run by turning off the ATMs - it would make CEXs legally liable and open to litigation for preventing their users to liquidate their assets. none of that falls within a CEX's EULA, and they're not gonna expose themselves to infinite legal liability just so LUNC can have access to off-chain capital controls.
