Jewbots aren't welcome here. 3 weeks ago, 1 oz coins and rounds were under $28 shipped everywhere. Spot is touching $26 and dealers are starting to offer OVER spot as the supply crunch continues to ramp up. If anyone was ordering 1oz coins with premium as an actual shorter term investment, they may make out pretty well soon, but most folks aren't buying silver in the hope of making small fiat gains. It's actual money; buy it while you can lol.

I'm pretty sure those are just labor issues for the most part. If anyone has worked in any sort of foundry or mills might know, ramping up production isn't an overnight thing lol. Then, think about the warehouse workers at vendors. They probably make $40k/year, on their feet all day, with 9 different cameras recording them. They don't give a fuck if orders doubled the past few weeks. Most aren't going to work much overtime and it takes weeks to train a new hire at any job. All of these things add to the delays. Comex can load a few trucks with pallets in one morning, but the actual manufacture and retail processing is a huge bottleneck.

>> No.54577499

it's not very difficult to get silver production ramped up when demand rises. if you want to see the price of silver rise the demand has to outpace supplier abilities, or they have to decide to squeeze the hose. running out of silver won't happen though, there are way to many mines capable of procuring it when worthwhile.

I’m going to laugh every time the local farmers recount how some city boy tried telling them that their silvertowne buffalo was just as good as an eagle. Farmers know the price of silver. And they aren’t going to forget the price differences today and if they persist into the future. You can call them stupid, but that’s just human nature. Maybe some won’t care, but you better have both coins and rounds just in case.

Well that was kind of demoralizing. I have no idea if that was a waste of silver or not. I'll probably never know, and it could take over a decade before one of them finds it in a box and curiously starts researching silver coinage. That's the hope at least. Oh, it's a pre-sale.
When will they be able to deliver?
Half a month?
Around ten business days?

>> No.54580226

I stopped buying about 2 years ago because the premiums have gotten so high. The last time I got silver eagles I paid 35 and that was just to finish out a roll. Most of my junk silver I paid 15 dollars per dollar face. I was getting silver eagles for 2 dollars over spot for what seemed to be forever.

>1 kilo + of scrap silver
>100+ bu American eagles
>150+ fv in junk silver
>100+ oz in 10 oz bars
>1.1oz in fractional gold
>1.35 in fractional plat

I'm moving and been unemployed for months. Even my wife if nagging me about selling shit but tells me not to touch the silver. I have nothing bros, Im selling my record collection and video games just to make rent, also shits too heavy to move across the country.

Same year as my kids birth. So it’s a fairly recent Lizzie. It’s not a special year, don’t want a proof. Just want a regular one to sit on for 15 or so years. They already have a 22 jubilee and a 1960ish gillick sov. Need the 22 memorial too. Then it’s back to one a year unless I feel fancy/break from silver or there’s a special. (Like a Charlie’s coronation)

Yea I agree. Coin shops should sell the coins for what they paid for them. Better yet, they should sell them to us for even less than their cost.

anon checkout gigs on craigslist, I'm in between jobs and have been making 20-25 an hour doing basic trade shit. They call you back for more work once they see you're white and work hard.

One gig may have turned into a business, I can drop almost a thousand feet of fence in a week and walk away with $2700 takeaway after materials

Nice! Did you get from apmex? I got mine last week but only one was factory sealed and the other in a bag. Bag one is clean but I wish it was factory. Gives me a reason to buy another set though.
