we live in a technological society. There's plenty of surplus to provide for the poor or people who simply don't do anything productive. It's actually cheaper to have robust welfare systems and free healthcare than to deal with consequences of not having those.

Most people want to do something and/or can be made to do something. Some people can't be helped they are just work-shy or mentally ill. To the extent that either group can be helped we should.

I work for the government and I have great respect for NEETs. I view the taxes I pay to them (which are a portion of the taxes i extract from you wagecucks) as some kind of alms like one might pay to medieval monks. They are like ascetic philosophers/priests of modern society who devote their time to higher sorts of work than the wagecuck.
Us government workers are more like petty nobility, we are lower spiritually but still important in that we extract money from the wagecuck and also fuck with him.

In order to get unemployment, you need to work at least a year and (usually) be laid off, not fired. This means they were decent workers. It also doesn't last as long as you think.
