They printed a shit load of money to bail them out, this is inflationary + a moral hazard. It takes time before this makes its way into the wider economy, Cantillon effect.

BTFP and the discount window are punitive loans, the affected banks will pay more back to the fed/treasury than they received.
they have one year or they will be restructured by the FDIC.

Positive rates = system crashing, end of speculation = recession. You can already see it in the tech sector with all they layoffs - they can't make more profit so they let people go.

So they can keep accumulating toxic shit until infinity? I think this time the central banks will go bust - the FED and ECB. It's the end game for the dollar and euro.

sure, we can have a shitty ""bullrun"" like the one in 2019, but a new ath never happens in this phase
every news looks like the end of the world and the most important thing ever, every single time, but they don't really mean shit. Covid was the end of the world, FTX was the end of the world, Elon shilling was the end of the world, everything that happens is priced in in the macro-logic. Remember: the news follow the cycle, not the other way around

they never made profit. they had access to infinite credit at near zero % rates. they could borrow more money to pay off old loans. they blew everything. borrowed billions and spent it on snacks and yoga rooms and giving women $300k salaries for existing that they not only spent but went into debt based on their expected future earnings buying frivolities. we have reached peak clownworld. the fires are rising.

we already know they want all the small banks to go extinct, but now it seems a hard timer has been set unless they allow they allow an infinite loop of BTFP actions / purchases of US government debt, but even then they could do that for the big "systemically important" banks while saying fuck off to the small banks.
Either way, they've shown their intent to preserve the financial system at the cost of the dollar (the BTFP is an indirect way for the federal reserve to buy all the US government debt).
Not a single fiat currency in history has ever died from deflation, so it seems rational to assume they will continue down this path and kill the USD as it exists today.
The USD will die regardless of their choice though as the rest of the world is already picking up steam on ditching this shitcoin (everyone dumping dollars -> massive inflation)
The ball is already in motion and nothing short of divine intervention will stop it.

Are you noticing a pattern here? Well I am. As far as im concerned nothing ever happens, and possibly, if history is as fake and gay as I'm starting to believe, nothing has EVER happened.

>> No.54506132

nothing happened = people are too dumbed down and distracted to realize what happen

the economy is going to get worse and the cost of living is just going to keep going up. and on the news they will say 2 more weeks until inflation is fixed.

Socialism. Total control over the people. Digital USD is basically the abolition of money as we know it, to replace it for accounting entries.

It's coming everything is too fragile right now. As soon as normies loose confidence this post covid house of cards comes tumbling down. Its also possible we just keep trudging through a decade of low grade suffering. Don't expect anything to improve untill muh inflation calms down
