Let me explain this from the perspective a person who actually deals in the problem XRP and the XRPL is designed to eliminate.
And also the perspective of someone who has been drawn to and read economics since age 11 when I bought Basic Economics off the shelf at Barnes and Noble in 1995. The book called to me.

The value of something is primarily determined by it's marginal utility. As in the value it provides when compared to other, READILY AVAILABLE, alternatives. Not imaginary alternatives, ones that are actually within reach.

So, the value of XRP is the value of the costs that the XRPL eliminates.
Currently for me this is all cc tx fees as well as all banking fees associated. My business is sizable but really nothing in the grand scheme of things.
I pay 2.7%-3.4% depending on the variety of payment methods I take. This equates to probably $40,000 a year easily in cc payments alone.
Then another $15,000 in cross border payments.

The value of a full adoption of the XRPL or a partial adoption is the cumulative total of these savings.
Now, that doesn't seem that high until you consider the value of tx that are made possible that WERE NOT possible in the old system.
Microtx, IoT tx, etc.
The XRPL won't get a full slice of those, but the volume will began to eat away steadily at the 100 billion as it ramps up.
Getting to a number is hard.
But I'd say by 2030 you'll be able to afford a ham sandwich with just a few drops of XRP.
