these businesses litearlly have almost no inventory on hand for the majority of their time because normally nobody gives a shit about rocks but because 1 small bank full of kike thieves failed a bunch of boomers got scared and bought up the tiny supply. once the stores place larger orders with the distributors the panic will die down as everyone sees lots of stock is available. kind of like toilet paper in 2020. the stores only order enough to put on the shelves for normal times, they couldnt have foreseen all the chinks spreading "TOILET PAPER SHORTAGE" on social media and going out to buy 10 shopping carts full to mail back to china.

Couple months ago ,silver 1 oz generic rounds barley hit 30 when the spot was 26-27 so it had 3 dollar premium, now the spot is 24 and now that number is back to 30 ,how much do you think it will be if it hit 28?

>> No.54408992

>>54406269
Dont forget how they crashed silver back in 1980 from 49 down to 10.80 overnight. Two brothers had an idea and bought futures contracts on 195 million ounces of silver for delivery in the future. When buying futures you can buy on margin which is currently 9.5%. So for example roughly 9500 dollars to claim 100,000 dollars of silver. You have to upfront the 9500 so if the price goes down the broker collects that money.

The bros were gambling (correctly) that there was no silver to deliver. In that scenario, the bros stood to pocket the difference in money in lieu of collecting their silver. When the price went up on silver the COMEX implemented "silver rule no.7" They can do this with 24 hours notice. This upped the margin percent to like 20% which means in our example you have to cough up like 10k of liquid money per contract. Or you can ignore the margin call and the broker will gladly close out your contract immediately.
So what happened was the bros had to come up with 100 million of cold hard cash to prevent their positions getting closed. Remember this was 1980, so 100 million dollars really meant something (around 370 million today) Obviously they 'missed' their margin call and all their contracts got sold at the same time which cratered the price overnight. This concludes your jewish history lesson for today. And always remember... if you dont hold it you dont own it.
