Fuck it, where can I purchase xrp and transfer it to a wallet at a low cost? Keep seeing its been removed from all or most exchanges in the US

Yeah impossible for Americans. Sorry. You can probably buy some when Coinbase realists it after it has surpassed 5 dollars. Still a bargain!

Bro, just use your ledger swap function.

Buy any ledger supported crypto, put it on your ledger, goto "swap" and choose XRP as the destination currency.

Works anywhere with no restrictions.

Ah yes this was my next question. I'm using Klever wallet as it was referred to be by a friend, and I see the swap option to convert to xrp, but there's also a mention of tron token of klv token being used to make the swap; is there a cheaper method or are all the fees going to be about the same?

If I sound like a retard I'm sorry, I am. Only got into crypto in the past few months. Besides a few grand in btc mid last year I have basically little knowledge on crypto as a whole.

Sorry don't know if there is a cheaper option. And the ledger is the only wallet you should be considering unless you have a tiny XRP stack, in that case you can use xumm.

Don't be a.poorfag, buy a hardware wallet to secure your crypto or risk getting rugged... you wouldn't skimp on a parachute, you would buy the best you could afford if you thought you might need to use it.

This. Also if any hardware wallet suddenly goes out of business, you can input your keys into a different hardware wallet and still have access to your assets.

Nice I'll look into a Ledger, I've been using brave browser and I've been seeing ads on this thing like crazy.
Looks like there's 2 models available? Stax and nano x. Should I go for the pricey one?

Is klever a bad option even tho it gives you custody of your key?

Also midly intoxicated so If I'm talking out my ass lmk and I'll go to bed

Nano X is all you need, stax is cutting edge expense. Nano x.can be placed in a waterproof container and worn around your neck under your shirt.

Don't forget to buy a metal.seed phrase storage.
