According to Cliff High price suppression ends in the first week of May

25 mins in: https://clifhigh.substack.com/p/atypical-spring-and-summer#comments

You have 6 weeks to get as much physical Silver as you can before the cheapies window closes FOREVER and the general public gets priced out.

Ebay is awful to buy silver bullion, too much demand and not enough offer allow absurd premiums to rule over the platform. That's why you don't find shit below $27/oz. But it's great if you are a seller.

On the other hand, ebay is great to purchase scrap silver if you are patient and learn to sniff the good deals. My average for the past 5 months is around $13/oz (not counting antique silver, for which i usually spend around spot, but i don't plan to melt it). Scrapfren is in single digit territory.
If you live in the US then you can do like him : send it all to a refinery to be melted down into bars the size of your liking, and you already x2'd your money.

Well, timing is more important than bulk. Save cash for the good opportunity to slurp. I'd say the minimum purchase must at least be large enough to have free cheaping, but beyond that, there isn't much savings to be made buying in bulk.
Timing really is the key factor, just 6 months ago silver spot dipped to 17 bux. That's for opportunities like those you are saving for.

He claims to not be a redditor but you find that shit on reddit. In every shiny sub possible. Do you see my shiny windmills in reddit? I hate content thiefs but I hate redditors in general even more. They take my /pmg/ posts and post them. Why we discussed this two weeks ago about how to stop reddit fags. Op is a reddit fag, and yeah i'm calling him out on that BS. The big promise is its use as a catalyst to improve the efficiency of fuel cells. I firmly believe electric vehicles (EVs) are a stop-gap on our way to hydrogen fuel cells. The amount of required rare-earth metals (REMs) needed for current battery technology means too heavy a reliance on China to be a good neighbor. When their military is adequately large (a decade?) they will invade Taiwan and cut off the West from REMs for supporting Taiwan's cause. I can only hope that we will have been clever enough to have developed the vehicles and infrastructure to support an alternative to EVs and internal combustion alike.

Platinum is used extensively for jewellery. Its main use, however, is in catalytic converters for cars, trucks and buses. This accounts for about 50% of demand each year. Platinum is very effective at converting emissions from the vehicle’s engine into less harmful waste products.

Platinum is used in the chemicals industry as a catalyst for the production of nitric acid, silicone and benzene.
The electronics industry uses platinum for computer hard disks (though these are being replaced by SSDs) and thermocouples.

Platinum is also used to make optical fibers and LCDs, turbine blades, spark plugs, pacemakers and dental fillings.

Platinum compounds are important chemotherapy drugs used to treat cancers.

Platinum was never really considered a monetary metal the way gold or silver were, as no one in the ancient world really had a consistent way to smelt the metal due to its high melting point and the elements it was often found bound to, such as nickel.

Platinum has a lot of technical uses, but its slowly being phased out for other more effective catalysts.
Also fun fact, the Spanish carried multiple loads of platinum with them back to spain, but either dumped the metal or the ships continued to use it as ballast and than was lost. The Inca mined placer platinum and worked it by cold hammering, but almost none of this artwork remains.

they did and were still not 100% sure how. We know they could smelt the metal but only the more alloyed forms of ore, the purer metal seemed out of reach for them. They hammered the metal from nuggets mined from river gravels, often with water powered hammers to make consistent sheets of the metal for further working, but we have little info on the actual working craftsman knowledge on how they smelted or did finer tooled work.

Quarter ounce Maple Leaf gold coin will be the best place to start. If you're going to buy silver, get 25 coins as they will come with a tube for storage. Examples:

https://canadianpmx.com/product/2023-canadian-silver-maple-leaf-1-oz-9999-available-for-pre-order/

You can probably find cheaper coins on other coin shop sites, but that will be up to you to find. I'm a Bong so I don't know where the best place to shop is. Avoid places like Ebay and ONLY shop at reputable coin shops so you know you're getting a genuine product.

Canadian Gold/Silver/Platinum leaves are some of the most popular and trusted bullion coins in the world and are reasonably priced, can't go wrong with those. Stick with a small amount of silver leaves, like 5-10 and maybe a 1/4 ounce Gold leaf for now. Hold onto it for a while and see how you feel. Stay away from Platinum for now, the premiums are really high and not as many dealers like to deal in it.
If you buy any, make sure it has the modern sunbrust pattern like pic related because it's almost impossible to counterfeit and thus is much more popular.

not flipping anything.
hell it could happen in my sleep because a few banks in the UK drop out of existence and then i can't flip for another few hours.
but that's why i have a good amount of both.
to give you an example: i have had a preparedness mindset for years. when covid touched off and ammo, toilet paper, and food became scarce i didn't even notice.
i went all of 2020 without needing to resupply my toilet paper.
before that, my wife didn't really get it.
when i took her to see the scared and desperate masses at walmart; to lines out the door at gun stores, then the bare shelves of grocery store did she understand.

when you set yourself up for anything to happen you don't really have to worry. of course i might miss out on incredible gains but if i can maintain middle class while everyone else scraps RAM for gold flakes for onions and their prized rat meat then i made out alright.

I dunno man. Spot price doesn't seem to have much influence on premiums. This year's coins were like ~25€ for Maples and Roos just a month ago. It went up again with the banks imploding and FOMO money. Now with mints not delivering as much as promised and you have a serious shortage, too. On the other hand you get way over spot for anything you care to sell back. To me this suggests a huge volume and actual lack of phusical silver. If they were just ripping customers off they wouldn't pay over spot to buy back. They do it because they can't get the coins any cheaper from anywhere else. What they give you must be cheaper than what they have to pay elsewhere. If it isn't it still means the cheaper source can't provide enough silver. Either way, things are looking bullish.

I justify it that I’m looking out for my family long term but this recession we are about to face is going to crush a lot of people. Vendors will start accepting the new Chinese/Russian/Middle East union currency whatever that turns out to be over the US dollar. I feel like brad Pitt at the end of the big short when he chastised the two goons because they are so happy they shorted the housing market. Big win for them but pain for so many others. And then be ready to share? I mean, you tried to warn people and it would've helped you both if they listened since a group can buy more PMs than someone alone can.

I was reading something online from about 1750 about a fellow in Jamaica who bought 5 pounds of platinum for less than its weight in silver, from a trader who obtained it considerably cheaper. Notice any similarities between pmg, reddit, the news, financial markets, or social discorse? You should. It's the degenerates. In other words. It has a high level of jewish influence. The acolytes of androgenic delusion. Those that are cursed by God. You've got troons, faggots, children's dolls in half the pics, funko pops in the op, cunny pics, delusional understandings of basic concepts, same fag posting, and discord rally calls to flood honest discourse with (((you))) harvesting to disrupt, divide, and destroy this place. They create the thread early, cross post retard shit from reddit, insert degenerate garbage into every picture they have. Less than 10% of each 350 posts is about the topic. Some are probably sitting around thinking "this is how we escape the jews, we'll end the fed!" But you don't realize the obvious. There is no more Jewish place on biz than pmg. You are missing the main point of using gold as money- the supply is limited by natural scarcity rather than banker and politician greed and recklessness. And that limit applies to goldbacks as well as to "free" gold coins. Just assume, for a moment, that goldbacks were to replace fiat. You would have the same benefits as using gold or silver coins but with convenient fractions. As much as we like to fondle the stack, that has nothing to do with the beneficial monetary function of commodity money. I'm not suggesting stacking goldbacks because you can get much more gold more cheaply in other ways. But goldbacks would work nicely as money.

Funny that you should mention that there is too much of it circulating! Any idea how that might actually be what destroys it? And it doesn't have to unwind itself in an organized way - it can just fucking evaporate in a rush for the door.

This is actually something I wanted to talk about some time. Are goldbacks theoretically the best possible form of money, save for the high premiums? Would theoretical silverback notes round it out and perfect it? Is there any chance goldback premiums might one day go down, and if so how?

i think with silver we would have to stick with coins for the time being.
part of the reason for the (((coin shortage))) is the government didnt want to use copper, so they moved to zinc. how that zinc is too expensive they just stopped producing.
currently a 1/1000 ounce silver back is somewhere around $10 retail.
i dont know how much it takes to produce one but there's no way it's worth it right now so theyre just novelty.

lets say fiat collapses, PMs moon, and 1ounce silver=1 acre of arable land.
that 1/1000 would now be more apt to be made since the silver would be of use and a 1 goldback would be enough to cover things like bills.
but at that point i think people would be using copper coins again.
plus i could see gold and silver certificates making a comeback simply because of metals: population ratio.

I want to see goldbacks be used and in the states that make them they are allowed for use at places willing to accept them.

>just searched all over eastern Tijuana for silver Libertads

These banks used to have a lot of them too since nobody is rich enough to buy them. I'm getting a bit concerned since I wonder if the local cartels bought these coins in case CBDC comes to Mexico, or so.
This is NOT a normal thing to see, and I'm getting worried since I only have about 65 oz of Ag and 2 oz of Au.

Right? Or they know something is coming and physical U.S. dollars will become worthless soon.
These guys usually stack gold, however. So it is rather unusual that they may or may not be buying all the silver Libertads in an entire city of over 4 million people. Who else could have that money so as to buy all the silver Libertads?!
