discord and telegram do not have ads. so what if i make a discord+telegram bot where server owners can invite the bot to their server, and users there can give the bot consent for it to send them ads in the form of DMs. users viewing the ads get a cut of the money the person running the ad paid. the owner of the server that user gave consent on gets a cut too, in this way they monetize their server just by having the bot in it. discord/telegram users interact with the bot to tell it to run a paid ad for them, this could be an ad to join their server or anything else, and it then DMs potentially thousands of other users who consented to see the ad. it sends a captcha in the DM too and the user just solves it and they get paid. it can also target the ads to only consenting users who it knows are interested in that topic. can it work?

Somebody already thought of it before you. Ad-scams via DMs are filtered quite well thanks to the absolute swaths of third world scum trying it in previous years.

yeah but this isnt a scam, the user consents to recieve the ads, because they know theyll get paid a cut of the money the ad creator paid to run the ad

If it’s not here by now means it’s aggressively prohibited by TOS
