Its still happening. Regional banks get QE while the rest of the economy gets QT. As the fed raises rates its making all these banks insolvent due to being underwater on treasuries. The Fed is now saying they will allow those banks to swap out those long duration treasuries for liquidity on par with the full value. This allows the banks to remain solvent while also limiting their ability to create credit and lend. Once again the plebs are getting fucked.
