Avalanche been the smoothest chain on the market for almost 3 years, zero downtime with instant finality even during insane market crashes and volatility (Time every other chain either went down or slowed significantly), Even if it's not just an explorer issue it's still a very minor problem caused by the latest update they pushed, Team already fixed it but checking internally before pushing according to the admins.

Btw, I believe the network stalled by design, Had this minor update bug occurred on chains that guarantee liveness at all cost (Ethereum for example) then the chain would keep running and get fixed on the move, Which's less secure way of approaching it for obvious reasons (we should appreciate different philosophies in different chains tho)

the only reason why it happened is because of an update. They'll go back to the latest version and that's it, fixed. But I guess that is easier to make this thread so the polyshills and icpoors can raid it with their cringy memes.
I used to love this board, shit.

Wrong you fucking cringe lying niggerface, Avalanche is VM-agnostic and Snowman++ is only used for that EVM chain right now. Another fact is that Ted Yin is going to release a completely rewritten EVM++ and DB solution called Mangrove soon, so I expect them to fix many problems you fucking fudding jeet fucks have.

Horrendously outdated chain that runs on Reddit hype (time to finality is like 10 mins, lmao) and a chain where the main selling point is an inferior version of subnets which need to get auctioned off to create value (because it wouldn't accrue naturally)

Also crypto twitter making stuff up about things they don't understand is not "proper research", btw

>it was actually mev actors and they were forced to overhaul consensus to leaderbased
if it was leader-based then that would mean it would be vulnerable to MEV since a leader, by definition, orders transactions on blocks and can therefore extract value via reordering, including or excluding certain transactions. Most often to create a front-running scenario that wouldn't otherwise exist if transactions were chronologically or randomly ordered.

Anyways, a long time ago the devs updated the gossip protocol (not the consensus protocol, but you're too stupid to know the difference) by adding sybil protection so that block proposals are proportional to staking power the same way consensus voting is proportional. Now both layers have sybil protection which means goodbye to all the jeet arb bots that used to spam block proposals in the gossip protocol.

Every AVAX shill is a grassroots community marketer who gets paid in AVAX to do it. They reply to themselves with different IDs and create lots of fake interest and discussion. If you browse /biz/ for a few days you'll see how inorganic all of this is. Their objective is to make you buy AVAX, hold it and maybe even stake it (for a negative inflation adjusted yield, which they will lie about). They will manipulate you with hope, technojargon, AI waifus and dreams of riches while getting paid by higher-ups who slowly dump on retail with the tokens they created for themselves for free. Go look at EOSETH chart and read about the history of EOS. This is the exact same scam all over again for newfags like you who don't know how this works. Don't fall for it, they are masters at manipulating.

yeah, the only part of the chain that matters (with actual smart contracts transacting value and thus opportunities for MEV) is ran leaderbased

It was one single chain on one single subnet you retard. Also the consensus protocol did what it was designed to do, nodes detected a disagreement and refused to make progress until the update was pushed to resolve the bug and the network healed. No loss of funds, no double spends. This was not a SOL situation where their shitty consensus algo broke and the network partitioned requiring a full restart.

Snowman++ has a soft leader mechanism that can be bypassed instantly by paying a relatively small fee for non-spammed transactions. Any node can propose a block at any time, every single node in the network participates in validating every block, all still with sub second finality and VM bounded throughput. This has been explained to you 100 times but you keep coming into our threads and shitting them up with this absolute retardation. It is wildly different from ETH or whatever other leader based protocol you want to compare to.
