Good for you though. It's not about efficiency, it's about them having power over you. That's why the majority of them want you in-office. Although you could have just accepted their terms while getting paid to slack off and doing basically nothing, like what I do.

That's even better because it's like, who is taking advantage of who at this point?

Preach. I would have took a 25k pay decrease to wfh, it doesn't matter how much money u get paid. What's the point in spending 2-3 hours everyday getting dressed and commuting and overpaying for takeout food

Have you tried getting a job at the Cheesecake factory? Their food tastes really good and you could hang out at the mall afterward too. Thats what I would do in your situation.

But it will be so satisfying when I quit in 2-3 weeks and walk off to my 100k job. I kind of want to get humiliated only to later moms them. I worked Ina kitchen before when I was young, I know how it is

KEK I had a similar experience, I quit my subpar IT job because I wasn't getting a raise. Jumped into a literal security job with ghetto people just to try it out. I only made $20/hr and just worked two days a week sitting in a car and watching movies. The other security guards got INSANELY salty when I told them what I usually work as. They didn't believe me and started subtly asking me IT related questions with their system. I knew everything and they thought I was lying about my previous work experience. Eventually found my dream job and mogged the shit out them saying I can't work any OT and I'm leaving because I landed a 150k/year WFH job. They were fucking MAD. Was one of the most satisfying things I've experienced in my life.

This is what I did.
My former employer basically paid me for three months to look for a new job.

Same thing really. 100k job, seriously awful boomer boss, asked if they could just let me go and move on amicably and they refused. So I had to go to HR like a faggot and whine. Took a year off basically just getting wasted and fucking chicks in my FL beach town. Finally last year got a WFH commission only job and it’s so fucking awesome. I work from about 10a to 2p getting high in my guest bedroom then go down to the beach around 3p. Fuck boomers. Fuck “work”. Fuck offices. I consider myself semi retired at this point and I’m only 35. Life’s pretty good rn ngl og fr fr

any advice to pull this off?
Had a miserable 70k marketing WFH gig and then got axed so now I'm scrambling to at least survive the summer and maybe take a break from it all but bills will keep piling up.

I relate to the sentiment of work. All I want is comfy. Hell I'd take a paycut if it meant WFH and did the bare minimum to get by. Fuck wearing yourself down because boomer said so.

In terms of quitting in such a way that you are eligible for UI, just say you’re suicidal or something. In terms of making your time off count, what I did was pay my mortgage a year in advance so the money I got from my wife every month was basically income.
