I have a friend who is a sysadmin who took two shots. Since then, his memory has become so awful he has to write down literally everything otherwise he forgets it. I started to type up a smartass response, but I decided to just be honest.
I didn't get the shot for myself. I got it during the experimental stage before we knew if covid was dangerous for kids or if it would mutate into something that was dangerous for kids. I was ok with the risks for me, because if the virus did mutate and start hurting kids we would already know how the vaccine affected us. My wife and I both got it for that reason. Neither of us had any issues, so we knew it was safe if our son needed it. I didn't actually get covid until recently. I never got any booster shots after the 3rd shot. It felt like the flu, but the first 2 days were not fun.
I know a lot of people who got the shot and they're all fine. I know someone who I believe was hurt by the shot. I'd take the same risk for my son with a future virus too though.

I was coerced into getting vaxxed. But now it's almost two years later and I'm in good shape. Still got Corona at one point but it was extremely mild. Absolutely none of the predictions about the vaccine hurting people appears to be materializing, like most of /pol/'s predictions.

My take is that the vaccine does absolutely nothing. It's just a political shibboleth: if you're "in the club" you make your employees take the vax, and if you want to be employable in a democrat shithole or globohomo org you get the vax.
