Give it to me straight, /biz/. Are we in for a collapse?

Yes, but not yet

I think it's going to happen way faster than expected because trust in institutions by multimillionaires is lower than it's ever been and theyre overall too smart to be conned into propping it up.

What needs to happen first? Weimar 2.0? We're almost there aren't we?

we still haven't fired the negative interest rate bullet. The next recession will probably lead to that. Then a period of recovery. Then the collapse

People have been talking about the collapse for a very long time, people don’t even understand how truly robust this system is. You will never escape it. But that could be your great strength in it, because while everyone is scared you just keep on knowing nothing will be over and proceed with that in mind.

>Almost Weimar?
No. Inflation is bad. Its going to get worse. But its still nowhere near Weimar levels and almost certainly won't be until the fundamentals of our currency creation change.
I think the bigger problem is debt. Its a currency crisis because its a debt crisis, and our currency currently is based on debt.

30 Trillion in debt is not "fine"

Do you have any idea how Fiats fail? Do you know that they fail 100% of the time?

>> No.54216424

>>54216269
>30 Trillion in debt is not "fine"
It is fine because its just a number.
The system we live under rests on confidence, and so long as there is confidence it doesn't really matter how big or small the debt or any other number is.
Wagies will get up and go to work tomorrow, and the grocery store and every other place still accept USD for goods and services, therefore everything is fine.

>Do you have any idea how Fiats fail? Do you know that they fail 100% of the time?
So?
All that matters is it is not going to fail anytime soon.
Maybe it will fail 100 years from now, maybe not because they've invented teleportation and space mining to boost the economy.
Regardless, we'll all be dead by then so who cares.

I'm a wagie and haven't gone to work since 2019, absolutely nothing to do with covid. I'd rather starve to death at this stage because people have only gotten more greedy and coercive.

You say the system works as long as there is trust but you overestimate the trust that is left. Everyone is pissed off and they're yelling at eachother. We're going to end up in mob mentality.

We are literally going to end up in the worst case scenario.

And have you even considered that there is a possibility for a better system? just because this one can work doesn't mean it's the best.

Your average wagie is going to get up and bust his ass at work tomorrow to make numbers go up on a computer screen, so yes there is plenty of confidence.

>I'm a wagie and haven't gone to work since 2019
You are just one tiny cog in the machine that no one will miss.
Your company has forgotten that you existed 6 months after you quit.
>You say the system works as long as there is trust but you overestimate the trust that is left.
This is not true at all, as I've stated previously, your average wagie is going to bust his ass at work tomorrow just to make some numbers go up on a computer screen. That is how dumb your average person is, which is why there is so much confidence left, and its all that matters.
Even if everyone quits tomorrow, they will just import more pajeets and chinks with H1B visas to replace everyone, there's literally a billion pajeets and chinks who wants to come to the US.
Hell, just look at the farming industry, your average wagie didn't want to work for less, so they just replaced them all with illegals from South America.

>And have you even considered that there is a possibility for a better system?
It doesn't matter what I think this is the system we have and its the system that wagies support and have confidence in.
If anything the recent bank failures proves that the system works because they were able to avert crisis by simply injecting money into the banks and making everyone whole.

That's not collapsing. That's only prolapsing. Niggers in slums walking around in flip flops shooting eachother on facebook live after a slow decline does not a collapse make.

The collapse already happened. In 2008. It was not only economic but cultural. There has been nothing new since 2008, although hipsters and dubstep survived for a few years after, they had been gestating at the point the collapse happened.

A real collapse takes decades. It's been 15 years. We already have much of the process under our belt.

No way! Fiats are tools to steal value from citizens. The value is never going back into the dollar.
