If the company is holding a lot of long-dated bonds as "held to maturity" then those bonds are worth less than the balance sheet implies, which means that the company's net assets are actually lower than reported, if they were forced to sell in the current market.

>>54143594>sry paywallNot if you get good.Btw the next crash will be 100% intentional by hackers who have had enough of this fraudulent economy that is a toxic back and forth between financiers, lawyers, politicians, law enforcement and general cartels. As someone who saw this coming 10 years ago, even without covid, I am just angry at this filth we call a modern liberal economy. It's not even a free economy. It's just warped to cartel interests.

I moved 150k from various accounts to a gold backed IRA with goldco (they had lowest fees). I feel very comfy right now. Now I can rest easy knowing I have a bunch of gold sitting on a shelf in my personal locker at a depository insurred by Lloyd's which can't be relent, crashed, jewed etc. It doesn't grow like a stock but with real inflation and them printing trillions it doesn't really matter now does it. I'll invest in my 401k and Ira still but for the most part all my extra cash will be going to buy bulion for the safe. They can't keep the ponzie scheme going for another 30 years.
