Here's the thing. You said a 'red rabbit is a meme token.' Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that. As someone who is a gambling addict and who studies shitcoins, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls red rabbit a meme token. If you want to be 'specific' like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing. If you're saying 'meme token family' you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of erc20 cryptocurrencies with an animal logo, which includes things like shiba inu and ApeTown. So your reasoning for calling a red rabbit a meme token is because random people 'call the animal tokens meme tokens?' Let's get doge and shiba inu in there, then, too. Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. Red rabbit is a red rabbit and a member of the meme token family. But that's not what you said. You said red rabbit is a meme token, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the meme family meme tokens, which means you'd call monero, icp, and other coins memetokens too, too. Which you said you don't. It's okay to just admit you're wrong, you know?

Bob is a man who still lives in his mom's basement. Bob spends his days playing video games, watching anime, and eating Cheetos. He has no job, no girlfriend, and no life. One day, while taking out the trash, Bob notices a stray cat meowing at him. He tries to shoo it away, but the cat keeps following him, leading him to a dirty alleyway. Bob reluctantly follows the cat, thinking it's probably leading him to some sort of crack den.But instead, the cat leads Bob to a filthy bulletin board covered in advertisements. One in particular catches Bob's eye: Red Rabbit token. 'What the hell is this?' he mutters, reading the ad. Bob decides to take a chance and invests all of his mom's money in Red Rabbit. He doesn't know anything about crypto, but he figures it's better than sitting on his arse all day. To his surprise, Red Rabbit takes off like a rocket, making Bob filthy rich. Bob can't believe his luck. He goes out and buys a flashy car, a mansion, and a whole lot of hookers and blow. He's living the life of a rock star, and he loves it. But Bob soon realizes that money can't buy happiness. He misses playing video games in his mom's basement and eating Cheetos. He's lonely and bored, despite his riches. In the end, Bob realizes that he was happier before Red Rabbit came into his life. He sells all his belongings and goes back to his mom's basement, where he resumes his life of video games and Cheetos. But now, he's got a little extra cash to spend on his guilty pleasures. Lesson learned: sometimes, the most unexpected things can change your life. But in the end, it's the simple things that make you happy. And also, don't follow stray cats into alleys. You never know what kind of mess you'll get yourself into.

they even predicted that they would have 100m users by the end of last year, and instead they have only LOST users. they made the same mistake as other tech startups - they saw their quick growth from launching a new product and tried to extrapolate that unsustainable growth out into the future while becoming complacent.

this company is circling the drain and is searching for more VC money because of their huge cash burn. if people really think that they are going to put their manpower on making their bagholders shitcoin moon then they are sorely mistaken. if people are unironically still holding bags of this then you might want to reconsider having too much of your portfolio in this scam.

tldr its just not worth it for exchanges to do it so you are left with 2 shitty options. one pajeet exchange that wants your tax returns to register and has outrageous fees, and another that is probably on the verge of bankruptcy and just scammed all their users by pushing them into their Gemini Earn program that went bust

they arent technically bankrupt yet. only their Gemini Earn program failed. the main exchange is technically solvent still, but they are surely going to be entangled with a shit load of legal problems for pushing their users in the earn scam program and them losing all of their money.

if you look at how much BAT is actually paid out with their rewards program, its really not that much: https://brave.com/transparency/

You guys really wanted to hear something fucked up with BAT look at what they are doing for ads on their search engine

The "ad blocking browser" is adding ads on brave search and forcing people to see them or pay a monthly fee of $4 to block the ads. They are also putting BAT rewards on it too so you can get paid BAT to see the ads on it, but the opt-in rates for their BAT rewards program is already extremely low and will drop much further with them requiring KYC.

The worst part for BAT holders is that Brave gets paid 100% of the ad revenue when they show a user an ad that doesn't have rewards enabled. When they show a BAT user the same ad, they only keep 70% and 30% of the revenue goes to rewards users. What this means is that Brave will be incentivized to NOT market BAT rewards to it's users, and will actually be better off steering them away from it or at the very least not mentioning it at all or advertising if in any way. The last hope for BAT bagholders was that the search ads would increase the buys for the rewards program but it appears that this is obviously not going to happen.

yeah its bad. the more you look at it the worse it gets. BAT is basically a slow rug, they used the ICO as a fundraising tool and they also kept 1/3 of the supply to fund the browser development and dumped most of it on holders already. now they are going back for the 3rd time with taking the BAT back from people who dont KYC to dump it on users and holders yet again. this is why the price never outperforms the broader market. anyone would have done much much much better just holding ETH or BTC over BAT

once they finish dumping the remainder of the UGP i imagine they will slowly phase BAT out because they never really wanted it in the first place and its too much of a hassle for them and eich has been bitching about the regulations they have to deal with for it since the beginning. you can see it happening with search ads already with the reason you mentioned - Brave earning more money to not have BAT involved

truth is the more they keep bat users at a minimum, the more money they will make from the ads on their search engine, which is their main focus that they pivoted to now that the browser growth has stalled. they even have joe rogan ads now that are only advertising the search engine and not the browser or token

I'm still dumping. Enjoy it because there's lots more where that came from. I know I'm not the only one unloading either.

I don’t blame ya brother. It’s fucking horrible what they did to us. Karma is bitch though. They’ll get what’s coming to them. I’ll do what I can to make sure of it.

It's whatever man I don't really harbor any ill will toward them. We thought they would make their shitcoin moon and they didn't. It's all in the game.

Combination of laziness, incompetence, complacency, and smugness. The biggest eyebrow raiser for me came quite awhile back when Eich referred to BAT holders as "rent seekers". I should have sold right then but I brushed it off, like I did with a lot of red flags from them. I could go on forever about it really.

Don't get too excited I've got quite a bit to sell yet you'll probably get lower unless some buyers show up. They haven't yet. The only buyers seem to be market makers and trading bots and after selling into them it takes a bit for them to reload their buy walls so that I can keep blasting them. If you like these prices then you'll love the prices next week.

I haven’t been holding as long as you, but my biggest eyebrow raiser was back in the early community calls when people questioned Luke about vBAT and he looked extremely incongruent when he said it was backed 1-1. I should’ve dumped right then, but I ignored my instincts. Hey, maybe I’d lie too if I was on the other end of this scam, but actually I wouldn’t. Nobody at Brave has any ethics. They’re lazy fucks who just want money. They’re not willing to actually go to war with big tech.

BAT is the King of fractional reserve crypto. It is built into their distribution model.

the truth is, BAT desperately needs some kind of 3rd party utility outside of what Brave is using it for. Without added value/utility from a 3rd party or the holders themselves, BAT has a very weak argument that it’s not a security.

The problem is the community is too unsophisticated to add value, and also I think the KYC requirement aspect discourages a lot of of people from even trying. Like if a major party of the token’s utility is more or less beholden to 2 CEX’s then people aren’t going to want to build on it. BAT is an awesome idea in theory and I don’t blame Brave for how they’ve approached everything, it’s just unfortunately not going anywhere in the current regulatory environment

True. At least BAT is better than any of that garbage. It’s just not a top 100 token. It’s more like a top 400. It reminds me of DENT but with less utility.

>NOTICE: For Uphold users, payments will now appear as one deposit into your Uphold account, rather than an individual deposit for each wallet verified/linked to your Uphold account. Example: If you have 3 browsers verified with Uphold, each earning 1 BAT for the month, you will receive a deposit into Uphold for 3 BAT.
