Got some decent items from an auction. The box was needed for some sterling medals in holders that I couldn't fit into the picture. My favorite is that weird 3D coin on the left. It's not silber but I got is for $1.

Just got back from picking up 314oz of silver from the refinery. It was ready on the 24th but I couldn't grab it until now. I think they may have accidentally deducted a $25 shipping charge so I'll have to ask them about it when I pick up the 7x 1/10oz gold rounds they're making from the little batch of jewelry scrap I left with them. Afterwards I hit a thrift shop and mined out 3 kilos of cheap scrap pewter for the hoard. Today is a good day frens, happy hunting.

I got spot at the bullion dealer when it was 36 AUD, currently accumulating again and it's 31.87 now so in terms of timing in my currency I did pretty well. Obviously once this system falls apart the only thing that will matter is number of ounces in possession so hopefully it doesn't happen this year, I think we've got a couple years at least.

Pewter is mostly tin, and the tin price over the past year has ranged between $17.60 to $50/kg, I'm HODLing until we break $100/kg. Dirt cheap compared to PMs but for a base metal it's pretty valuable and 50X as rare as copper so I like stacking it. Copper is a fun meme but I actually take tin seriously. I wish I got paid to haul it away, but most people have no concept of its scarcity or value so it's easy to find priced at a fraction of melt value.

We regularly practice out to those ranges with our bolt guns. Pistol was for ease of use from a car or in the home. She hardly take the 10.5 out to 50 yrds but dose real well out to 100yrds with my 16inch AR. Just looking to grow the family/make the wife happy. Also again 100-200yrds isn't anything special unless she is plugging dime sized holes at that range. If she gets to that point you better believe we will enter her in comps

The hair splitting comes down to when it's an S mint mark but you aren't sure if it's a cupronickel proof strike or a silver proof strike. The memes and history are worth the premiums no matter what desu. Windmills are like extreme junk silver since they’re only going to get more and more rare PLUS naughty silver triggers the long nose tribe so that’s a win win in my book.

Just soap and water. The kids beat them up a bit, so I don't bother polishing theirs. It's nice because they each (6 kids) have a cup of water that stays out so they can get water whenever they want. The silver keeps the water fresh (antibacterial).

We use a random assortment of sterling flatware that I pick up whenever I can for under spot.
