Here's the truth which you all know deep inside

I don't even need to talk about whether LINK fundamentally is a god tier token, deciding if that's a fact or not is irrelevant.

The reason it has underperformed is simple:

Everything in the entire crypto market is insanely overvalued on speculative degenerative gambling hype. You have multi BILLION dollar market caps for things generating 0 revenue with in some cases less than 100 daily active users.

Does LINK DESERVE a $6.90 per token value? No, of course not. You might argue compared to the rest of the market it does. Let's just assume LINK is the BEST token in the market. Your argument is then that it deserves to be at Bitcoin's mcap or higher.

But that's ignoring the fact that Bitcoin too is just an insanely fucking overvaluated shitcoin with very little current fundamental usage.

The market is currently highly irrational, simple as. Tokens are not valued based on their fundamental value in any way whatsoever, the entirety of their valuations depend on some episode of mania inspired retail hype and a bunch of bag holders who refuse to fucking sell.

It's literally just a GME tier Reddit market, and unfortunately LINK has yet to make the cut. Maybe because it's too hard for people to understand, who knows.. certainly the narrative around "THE NEXT ETHEREUM" is easier for retards to grasp.

Anyway, that's all. Carry on.

Checked and not entirely wrong, but comparing it to GME is newfag nonsense, that was a one time play, crypto is an asset class that has managed to exist for 14 years now. Anyways network effects still matter, when you understand that combined with the effect staking has on supply and demand, link still has potential to dominate the market. Need staking 1.0, and need network effect to continue to expand.

It already had a market cap valuation of Proctor & Gamble at its height. Pretty good for a price checker token that isn't even used by the protocol. The protocol only generates $1000/ day in revenue, with no actual profits in sight for at least decades, and the only use that they can come up with (before the sec starts making arrests) for what was originally a fund raising token ($12million to solve the oracle problem), is staking for more tokens.

I'd venture that the hype train has left the station forever, but who knows? Maybe the breadcrumb kids are right?

4chan didn't know what reddit spacing was until reddit showed up and told us we were using it.

Go tell this newfag all about reddit spacing >>>/r/2359499

Bullshit fud, this is how much on-chain revenue there is specifically for VRF on ethereum/BSC/polygon. It doesn't include off-chain payments, other chains, or other services like proof of reserves, automation, etc.

Just like Link, eth is an over valued shitcoin. ETH should be closer to around $50 a token.

OK, drop the real stats for daily revenue, and then we'll try make the comparison to the P/E of P&G. I'm sure the math will check out!

No bullshit flimflam stats invented to project faux real world value like "dollars value of transactions facilitated on PikachuFartSwap" please. Just revenue generated by the protocol.

Link is a shitcoin that's going to zero, but we can present some actual FUD guys. The $1,000 daily revenue is from DeFi Llama which is only looking at VRF for 3 different chains. We can do better.

How do you make a post like this and still say with a straight face link has more value then the rest of the market

If it’s value is derived from inter operating blockchains and data, what happens if the economy decides blockchains are fucking worthless lmao

How is that a Chainlink problem specifically?

This is my whole point.

>>53924187
Is this directed at me? I'm saying exactly that LINK doesn't have more value than much of the market. I mean yes, the vast majority of shitcoins don't even make $1k/day which we know LINK at least makes that but let's be real, none of these pieces of shit actually warrant any valuations and there is no logic behind the valuations.

>>53923807
It's true, it had a pretty solid pump. Can't deny that. It did not compare to the big L1 pumps, though.

I know the market is irrational, by why can't it ever be irrational in my favour?
