I don’t know how anyone didn’t see the writing on the wall. Johnny was bought out by Chainlink years ago. He had to go back and censor/remove his posts after he was acquired by Chainlink. He made several long posts detailing Chainlinks connection to cryplets, etc. and then as soon as he was bought out- gone.

Nodes get 5% versus community stakers getting 4.75%. Problem is, Nodes operators have to distribute their rewards among the link stakers they crowdsourced from. And the link stakers' rewards aren't 1:1 of Link to SDL staked. It's far far less than that.
