everything is gatekept, even things like ebay which seem trivial at face value, when you sign up especially during november-february they have psycho security measures in place, they have some algorithm that will limit you to selling 3 items per month and then give you an indefinite suspension saying you can't buy or sell and they'll permaban any other accounts that you make, this is without any explicit rule violations, just vague "risk" activity like maybe you had the wrong web browser user agent and have a habit of browsing in incognito mode or clearing cookies, switching IP addresses regularly etc
