OP shows the suggested "left-translated cycle" for this next one, something Bob Loukas discusses, among others.

It's quite plausible, when you think about it. 14-17 was a very clean and largely "unobserved" cycle, then 18-21 had a lot more eyes on it and we here all "knew" it was going to be another 4 year cycle, which led to a couple of weird front-running episodes (Q2ish 2019, and 2021), but ultimately the cycle ended up with similar timing. You still had crypto-is-dead shit last cycle, and awareness was only a fraction of what it is today, but there were still signs that the memecycle idea was breaking down.

Now EVERYONE (and I do mean EVERYONE) knows about this 4 year cycle larp which essentially guarantees it won't happen like that again this time around.

One possibility, therefore, is a left-translated cycle (peaking early, say by EoY 2024) and then a much longer bear phase.

You get this effect on some alts that had pump cycles to match, say, a regular quarterly burn or similar. After a few cycles, people cotton on until they become front-run by so much that the cycle breaks down altogether.
