It's this social state when you're a bird who didn't flew out of the nest and due to real husband unavailability (like working abroad here) all chores of his - like maintanance, emotional support, all kind of "this needs to be taken care of" just drops on you.
Also it becomes difficult to leave because you get used to this and new place is both loneliness + costs while being here - while in toxic cloud aoe is just "new normal".
+ideas of going out both short and long term just gets bombarded by ur mother who wants you to spend time here, to avoid losing also you.

I grew up in a gypsy ghetto in eastern europe. I didnt know how to talk with ppl till I was 14 and my parents' divorce got me out of that shithole.
Watch and read stuff online, Charisma on Command, 48 laws of power, that type of shit. Then head out and practice. Best places to meet and interact are universities so you can start a course just for the fuck of it, or you could take up lessons in whatever like dance/ music/ swimming etc and meet ppl through that. It wont be comfy and you'll be anxious a lot but the payoff is fulfillment. Im gonna be restarting life at 27 dreaming of moving to Amsterdam with barely any cash and no job offers. Take a chance, Columbus did.
