I just want to look like ryan gosling

>> No.53699275

Yes, but most of the cost should be the lenses themselves. You can pick a standard Luxottica brand like Ray-Ban or what have you, although you’ll probably get better quality going with an independent frame or something like a Tom Ford. But definitely do not cheap out on the lenses. Don’t buy any cheap shit online because they’re terrible quality and the optics will give you a headache every time you put them on.

Depends. If you own the sunglasses store then you should buy them as you'd make $200 and get to keep the sunglasses.

>> No.53699294

No, just get a cheap one. You'll thank yourself when you inevitably lose or forget it somewhere. Also $1 of shib turned into $14 million at the peak of the bull market. You really want to waste $200 on eye condoms?

Of course not. Just buy some cheap replica. I used to know this bitch that blew away $500 on her credit card for some D&G shades. I outright told her that was one of the stupidest purchases I had ever seen. I laughed even harder when she replied that it'd give her a lot of points. Some people were literally born to be slaves.

Avoid Tom Ford, Gucci, Oliver People's, Rayban, Persol, or any "luxury brand" for that matter.

glass: heavy, best vision, hard to scratch but break easy if dropped. Not for beach or activities.

From a functional perspective it does not depend on the price and brand but the treatment and type of the glass.
Some crap glass with gold plated idiocy and a fancy name on it isn't worth $200 ... it's 90% going towards who puts the name on it.
It could only make sense if there is a market for a limited collectable model idiots pay even more for.

On the other hand if you want to have clear vision and be protected from some possible crap going into your eyes from your gun spending $200 on some lenses for different lighting conditions is a good investment.
