We've been posting for three years nigger. Most immediate and quick points are that the eight year cycle low was reached in gold in November of last year.

We literally talk about this shit all day every day from all kinds of angles.

Do you think gold will be more expensive or less expensive in two years? Do you think the government is going to continue deficit spending or somehow pay down a thirty trillion plus dollar debt? Do you think it's good for American economic strength that a trillion dollar spending bill was passed last year?

Do you think the Russian war is going to escalate now that spring is approaching? (It is).

I can post a chart no problem but I won't be able to for a couple of hours. If you can pull one up yourself, look at silver. Perfect example. Putting in a low right now. It dipped down barely at all, making a low and rsi is oversold.

In the grand scheme of things you have time. Don't sweat dollar moves in silver and hundred dollar moves in gold. When silver goes to $30,$50,$75,$100,$500 you won't care about the little bit you could have saved by buying at the right time.

>"The moment I saw her, I felt like I was looking at a sparkling, shiny rock," said Mitsuo. "Even though she was new, her performances were amazing, and very cute."

Though he was based in Oita, he would travel to Osaka every week to catch her performances, and would never miss the online live events either.

Soon, Tomoe began noticing Mitsuo as well. "I feel like he is different from other fans. I can confide in him and talk to him about my troubles that I would never tell anyone else.

"Once, he wasn't there at our concert. I thought it was weird as he always came, and I started looking for him onstage. Without him in the audience, I felt empty. From that moment on, I realised I seemed to like him."

Tomoe took the initiative and eventually confessed her feelings to Mitsuo. Mitsuo said he never thought the day would come. "After all, I'm just a fan. If an idol says they like you, maybe they only like you as a fan. I couldn't believe it when she said she liked me as a person... So I said, 'let's start dating then!'"

1. Best large cap silver producer.

2. Best small cap silver producer.

3. Best silver explorer.

Mine....

1. I don't know enough about the majors to make a definitive statement but I think hecla has a lot of potential and is undervalued.

2. Best small cap producer. Gogold by a long shot. Listed on SILJ. massive growing new reserve in the hundreds of millions of ounces. Relatively safe jurisdiction in Argentina. Healthy Financials.

3. Best explorer. Abrasilver. Retardedly large deposit. Retarded grades.

Discuss.

Yes they are to me at least.

I'd say you could do pretty well with those three but it is paramount that you research each one so you know what you're getting into. They all have their own story and you need to completely understand what they present if you want to make good investments with them.

I'll give you a little bit of an outline.

1. Impact- producer barely breaking even at current prices but large production output that will give a lot of torque when prices go up. Not listed on silj or other etfs. (Confirm that I haven't checked lately).

Santa dcryz- recently increased production 6x and is valued at previous production levels, market is either ignoring it or scared of the large debt eisk they took on.

3. Gsvr- recent take over. Lots of potential.

You really need to know the stories with these guys. Ceo.ca is a great place to start.

Not exactly sure where I get that. But I've tried looking at the Q3 22 MD&A reports for each.

GSVR has multiple hits for the word "exploration". For example:
>Exploration programs for the San Ignacio and Valenciana mines are being evaluated, once a careful review of all available information is complete.

While SCZ has this as a 2022 focus:
>Suspending the long term exploration drilling campaign at the Mexican Santa Gorgonia Prospect and focusing on near term production properties and expansion of the active resource at Zimapan in order maximize value from capital expenditure

So it seems like GSVR probably wants to expand it's resources. SCZ seems to already have a pretty solid amount.

No with that one it'd be the value prospect. They currently have 30m oz of silver which is selling for 22 dollars an ounce. When silver goes up the value of that resource goes up. Theoretically every dollar rise in silver price is an increase of 30 million in value for gsvr. Now this is where marketcap comes into play. How much is the company trading at versus its actual value. If gsvr market cap is say 30m and silver goes up 8 dollars to thirty dollars, that is an increase theoretically of 250 million to the company. This is where a large part of our expectations for returns to come in. It's basically a call option on silver.

Whether you end up liking commodities or not. If you stick around here you'll learn all kinds of shit about stocks and investing and you can use the knowledge in whatever sector you want. >https://im-mining.com/2023/02/13/future-metals-makes-mining-and-processing-breakthrough-at-panton/
From the article
>The bulk test work involved compositing separate chromitite and dunite samples to replicate the expected feed mix from a mine stope. The chromitite and dunite were crushed and screened into to three size fractions: plus-25 mm, plus-10 mm, and -10 mm.

>The bulk ore sort test work validated the sighter test work on multiple size fractions, demonstrating 96.7% recovery of high-grade ore and rejection of low-grade and waste, increasing the PGM grade of the potential mill feed by 10.7% and reducing the throughput volume by 12.7%.

>Kininmonth concluded: “Additionally, we have been progressing discussions with potential technology partners to assess a low-capital downstream integration option at Panton. Downstream integration enables the production of high-margin metals products while also significantly decreasing the emissions profile associated with those products, thereby differentiating Panton from the majority of South African and Russia producers, which use coal-fired power and generate other emissions such as sulphur dioxide.

>“Downstream processing also closely aligns Panton with the Australian Government’s critical minerals strategy which incentivises onshore upgrading and development of strategically important deposits such as Panton.

they're not barrick, they're randgold. canada let one of its most important companies get raped by a bunch of africans. nearly every executive is a fucking randgold carryover. you could think that learning how to make money in africa means you can make money anywhere, but even their CFO is from randfold. no wonder their balance sheet is so fucked up. sorry mate, it's fcx and nem for me.

Anon, I'm a retard too, so take what I say with a pinch of salt. If you don't own any commodities, buy some gold and silver. Physical if possible. Get ETFs if you can't own physical (people here recommend PSLV for silver, I own different ETFs for gold and silver in my country). Price of silver and gold are cooling down a bit right now, so now would be a good time to get in. Other than Gold and Silver, I own energy related ETFs, some uranium ETFs, crude ETFs and natgas ETFs.

My objection revolves around the assumptions in picrel that there will be price increases while the disruptive supply from their mine is introduced to the market. The new supply from a source this big will have the opposite effect in an industry where demand is rather constant (+- for weather) and price projections are calculated on historical assumptions. These projections fail to account for the introduction of their own supply to the market. If anything, the price of road salt will remain relatively static or even decline on account of this.

>> No.53702698

>>53702667
what you do is crash the market long enough to drive competitors out of business, then you cut back production to restore prices or even raise them. This allows competitors to again start business, so you drop the price again to drive them out of the market.

the result is rising average prices over time, but both the commodity and the companies mining it become cyclical at varying wavelengths depending on supply and number of competitors.

this cyclical behavior is then flattened out via long and short sales. Contracting to sell at some agreed upon average price no matter what the actual price is that day.

the other thing mines do to control price is simply warehouse their production and only sell at a certain price.

again, if they can afford to sell cheaper than the next mine, the next mine will eventually go bankrupt. Storage has costs as well, but it's worth it anyways and essentially all mines do it or pay someone to do it for them.

they also don't have to lower the price much to bankrupt competitors. Since the market is highly competitive to begin with, lowering price by a couple cents could bankrupt other mines that are running super thin margins. Even the threat of lowering prices could very well end other mines and those mines would likely see the benefit of selling to the cheaper company rather than trying to compete with them.

Technically about 380 million. But the operational bottom for structural reasons is1/4, which would be 720/4= 180 million. So they could dump as much as 200 million barrels in the nuclear option where they just decide to empty it.

The stated objective is 90 days of supply. If our deficit is 2mmbd then we need to keep 360mm barrel in it. So they are planning on going under that.

The problem is that the oil trade deficit, US production numbers, and the true SPR bottom, are all very hard or impossible to know.

But we are definitely in the desperation stages, as evidenced by the small size of the release and it’s announcement almost 2 months before it actually starts.

Continuing to dump the SPR while basically starting ww3 is an interesting tactic, let’s see how it plays out

i think Peter Zeihan's take on Russian oil and minerals production is very accurate. He predicts that russia is going to suffer the same issues Venezuela had with their oil and gas sector after they nationalized the industry. After that they couldnt buy parts to keep equipment operating at peak potential, eventually even buying substandard parts or lower quality components became difficult as the equipment being serviced became obsolete. Russia is going to start seeing this demolish their oil and gas sector, mining will see the same issues too. You cant run industry with the support network, and Russia built theirs around western tech.

It's helpful to get different perspectives

Its going to heavily depend on how much China helps them. China still has serious issues building really complicated equipment or things like technical castings. High quality components like what you need in a gas line regulation system are mostly built in the states and europe, china could probably build that sort of stuff to but its never going to be the same level of quality or tolerance as that made in the west.

If Russia ends up totally on its own, its going to nose dive in productivity.

China will definitely help them, like they are doing. Also India, Iran and the rest of the gang. They will do absolutely fine even if some equipment is going to be lower quality. The Russia will collapse in two weeks narrative is just copium from western elites.

Russia is more self sufficient and has far smarter citizens than venezuela

Yeah, this is not the USSR era. The Asian block has nearly the same GDP as the west and while their tech may not be as good, it's close.

oh yea its not going to collapse, but out put will probably be hampered until new gear can be sourced.

Idk how the tech is on other industries, but newer john deere tractors have Deere specific parts that have a registered identification number that comes from JD and if you install a part that isn't a Deere or attempt to fix it yourself, the fucker just won't run. We had to hire someone to hack out machine. So if the mining industry uses shit like this then suddenly a small supply chain issue could mean one little issue could become huge without that piece of gear

before we have a new thread CAT thought about doing this as well, but when they looked into it further they saw it would destroy their place in the market, as CAT equipment has a huge after market parts list, there are whole businesses based around different bits for CAT equipment. Why Deere thinks its a good idea i ll never know, its already hurting their North American division, and their doubling down for gods sake!

I feel like I've said this here before idk sorry for repeating myself if I have. Still it's a very real issue. The devil is in the details
>Proprietary garbage fails
>Subbly chaim issues
>Fix it yourself cuz bushing, bearing, etc can be fabricated or another similar part modified and retrofitted
>Won't start anyhow cuz it sensed you removing the part and now needs clearance from John Deere
Pic related

Remember when you were a kid and driving a old beater? You could disassemble a rack and pinion front end and rebuild it yourself for $25 if you already had some rtv and ran the old fluid thru a coffee filter. Now you can't even open the fucking thing they have tamper proof fasteners. I've drilled them out just cuz the core charge is only $25 and I always lose the receipt. Once inside half the fucking diameters are non typical as proprietary shit tends to go and literally nothing in a fucking machine shop hardware bin is useful. Could make one on the lathe if times were tough I guess. Anyhow now those fixes would be worthless as the machine would know the part had been removed
We hired a guy that told the machine the fuse had blown or some silly shit and he had a pigtail that would plug into his laptop and it had a spoofed Deere clearing code that didn't need JD headquarters verification
It's fucking satanic m8

Good to hear your take on this. I was somewhat skeptical about that aspect as I wasn't sure but your opinion. Is meaningful. I also was biased towards Russia over Ukraine so I was unwilling to accept them losing anything even if it's possible.
