Is it me, or is Gen Z happier and have way less stress than I did when I was there age? I look at a a lot of these 20 and 25 year olds, and they just seem like they enjoy life a lot more than Millennials did a decade ago. Is it because less of them are going to college, so they don't have that stress? Is it because they know that society is completely fucked, so they just don't see the point in contributing to it? I can't put my finger on it. Anyone else notice this?

Lots of millennials had Boomer parents that had unrealistic expectations of their kids. That's why they were so stressed all the time. Zoomers have Gen X parents that "get it", so they have more empathy for their kids, and probably more love as a result.

Yeah, they're more carefree, if not full-blown nihilistic and apathetic. You Millennials had far too many expectations placed on you and your elders constantly acted disappointed no matter how much you did.
Hard not to blame you for being neurotic.

>Gen Z and Boomers are the happiest generations
>They are also technologically retarded
Its the machines and knowing how to work them. Computers, sure but also the machines of social organization. By the time 9/11 and the crash of 2008 happened, Boomers had already checked out of paying attention and only the oldest of Gen Z were born.
The more you know, the shittier it feels.

as a millennial it was smashed over our heads that if we went to college we would be successful, and be able to live a good life.
i graduated right around when the Recession of 2008 + housing bubble burst hit, and no companies were hiring.
it was just super disappointing and not what any of us expected. barely any of us own homes because we're still up to our tits in student debt with a 20%+ apy fucking us in the ass every month

Boomer parents aren't known for showing empathy.

Gen Z know that a camera can be on them at any time, so they have learned how to keep a nonchalant mask ojnwtan in public. We all have that go to camera pose that fakes happyness, gen Z is constantly like that. Youth also gives that vibe. Bills and taxes have gone nowhere

You have no idea. And despite all your accomplishments, it’s never enough. You just become tired and numb inside. My Xer cousin’s get it, but my millennial cousins either hate me because they’re not at my level or think I’m a loser because I’m not at their level. The only one I enjoy being around was my zoomer cousins but my parents expectations rubbed off on me and I was upset one of them who is genuinely incredibly smart, decided they wanted to be a dish washer for the rest of their life. It still chaps my ass a bit.

The percentage of Gen Z in college is higher than the percentage of Millennials that went to college. The number of Millennials that went to college is not as high as you were lead to believe.

I would never get one of those fucking things, they are way too complicated and expensive.

The closest thing we have to a Nintendo switch is the Wii U and even then there aren't many games for it outside of some indie stuff and Mario Kart 8.
