>British CBDC coming in 2025-2030

We still have one more bull run before CBDCs become mainstream and basically make private crypto irrelevant.

Crypto is already de-facto illegal in the UK, due to the fact Banks just block transfers to exchanges, and will close your account if they suspect you are trading crypto. Despite the fact that the UK wants to be a "crypto friendly jurisdiction".

I'm saying, try interacting with crypto using traditional banks and see what happens.

Well considering I'm in the UK and do this all the time, I already know the answer is nothing. I have never had a problem using Coinbase or Binance with either HSBC or Santander

Well if my bank starts blocking, I will instantly change to another bank which doesn't, but so far only issue I've had is that they will sometimes temporarily block the transfer and make me confirm it over the phone warning me that crypto is a very risky investment and such

i'm the anon who made the threads about having my Nationwide account frozen about month back, after receiving money for crypto. I managed to get my account unblocked the other day, but only after I provided them with a signed notary and paper statement copies from the sender (i used localcryptos.com which funnily enough has now closed down). Turns out that HSBC, which was the bank where the sender's funds came from, made a fraud claim about the tx and froze the account of the sender too. However after the guy threatened them with legal action they unfroze his account, and even claimed they didnt made a fraud claim. And once I threatened Nationwide with seeking legal advice from the financial ombudsman after i provided the notary and bank statements they quickly unfroze mine.

incorrect. the City of London (not the UK) is still the financial centre of the world due to corruption and offshore havens, which we manage for burgers and almost every other oligarch globally. its the only reason we have not drifted into complete irrelevancy after the empire faded, do you think we would pass on an opportunity to abuse yet another way to hide wealth? no.

although crypto literacy among our population is one of the worst i assure you our inner financial circle is deep into it, as it happens we are not into exploiting our own people, especially while there are still irish, browns and slaaves to financially abuse.

now enjoy the show while pull the WEF down like we did with the EU.

CBDC aint even an innovation in any shape or form, it's just an attempt to tighten the grip on your finances. they don't need any of features that decade of crypto development offers because all these developments were made with no banks or governments in mind

>BoE actually makes the digital sterling on it's own chain and through incentives, most people are using it daily
