Silver is shit, you should’ve been buying gold all along. But of course whenever you say that here you got ganged up on by the bag holding morons who say silver is going to $1,000 any day now bro. Just cut your losses now and exchange all your silver for gold or other assets that actually give you a return

The finest retards as always
Silver and gold have never been about fucking moonshots you useless fucks. It preserves buying power at the time you bought it.
In 1920 an oz of gold would afford you a fine suit
In 2020 an oz gold would afford you a fine suit
Why are you chucklefucks so fucking stupid? Yes, if you purchase and wait you are garunteed gains unlike most other things. If you purchase expecting a fucking moonshot then you expect the dollar will go to 0 tomorrow you fucking retards, but how much does a loaf of bread cost when your oz of gold is worth 100k an oz?
You are PRESERVING purchasing power with silver and gold with basically garunteed inflationary gains.
The one caveat to this is if we were to be put on a gold standard again which is extremely unlikely.

No brother, for the herb is of God’s creation. We evolved to have cannabinoid receptors in our brains. It is here for a reason. But it is also a test.

One of the major effects is artificially inflating the sense of somethings importance. That’s why stoners will become preoccupied with simple things.

If you can retain your discernment; be mindful and focus on what is meaningful, important and a worthwhile priority - it is a blessing. But that’s the hard part.

Nice still are easy to find online now, and I don't mean the amazog chink pot still. You want something that can distill 190 proof in one go. You want a proof tester, dilute down to 40 percent with good water or make it a bit stronger if you like, and add something like picrel. It is so much better and better for you. It is not a depressant like government alcohol, but is dangerous in it's pure form. I actually prefer the neutral spirit and drink straight mixed with water and sometimes a little something for color and flavor but very little. It is so much more clean of a buzz, and hangovers are non existent if you don't go ham on it.
Fun fact, the whole you will go blind off shine bullshit and all that was back from prohibition days, how easy it is to make your own alcohol and how much better it is than the governments shit is why they try to scare you out of it, just buy the "safe" government goy juice

I can understand being annoyed by someone talking about a field you're not interested in, but as I've pointed out they're not going to have a choice in the matter when it happens. Whats your favorite gold coin to stack? Few more coins and ill have 10 oz's. Got maple, several Britannia, and american gold eagle. I prefer cheaper premiums and consistent size / design. I like britiannias the most. However I dont like having faggot leaders on my shinny coins and not sure about the new king charles coins. Ill probably still buy because its cheapest premium for a sovereign. Maybe ill start getting bars? If I do get a bar, I will open them, I dont like plastic packaging.

How many of you guys have given silver away to family or tried explaining the true value to them? I'm interested in your stories. I'm in the air force and everyone I have ever spoken to about pm have said that the dollar will never lose its value. I tried talking to some of them buying homes this year and they don't listen and are even buying two homes. On the verge of the biggest housing market crash. It does break my heart. There is a silver lining though as during Christmas I gifted some relatives cheap silver and a note explaining the world economic situation and they started stacking last month. So it seems that at least in the air force where I am stationed people are ridiculously stupid despite supposedly being held in high esteem with multiple degrees. My major is nutrition but I'm tempted to switch to economics just for the fact that I could potentially reach more people. Anyway all stories are welcomd

Checked, good questions and a good start. When starting out I recomend that you focus more on weight/finding the best deals and good sources. I like to buy local with cash. Helps local business and you can build a relationship with the owners. Its worked out well for me. I get real good deals when I buy in town cause I'm in the shops all the time. If you are US based you can start with 90% coins. 1964 and before are 90% silver you can usually get real good deals for culls/common coins. I just more recently started getting into more numismatic coins but still try and foucus mostly on weight.

He's also a twin, so pretty fitting. Gave his daughter a half ounce round last year and a sterling charm bracelet for Christmas. Gave my mom a gilded hummingbird coin for her birthday, and a gilded hummingbird coin in a bezel, and chain, for Christmas. Fuck yeah anon even with the reverse scratches that's gotta be a $400 coin, the dingus saying it's only worth $50 is wrong. My dad sent me a pic of what he picked up from his LCS' scrap bin yesterday, they sell all the culls and common foreign silver for exactly melt value so the dip made it a good day to buy cheapies. I'd be jelly of his ~$16.75 silver dollar scores if I wasn't going to wind up inheriting them all eventually. They sell normal circulated dollars for $32 but are sticklers about grade so ones with scratches/dings or excessive wear are sent to a refinery. Most anons aren't blessed with such a based coin shop but I'm sure they're not the only place in the country with good deals so keep your eyes open and ask around about refinery scrap bins some shops might have hidden in a back room.

This is only true of currency unions based on fiat where some central authority must try to police printing among the members. It's a disaster. But a gold or silver currency does not present that problem because only God can make gold and silver. Gold and silver money are outside the hands of government and politicians. Whether it is a country, a business, or an individual, you either have the gold or you don't. If you don't, you need to produce something of value to trade for more. This is why gold is known as honest money.

And because the mint ran out of its reser es of silver from the Pittman Act which had the US melt 270 million US silver dollars then sell said silver to the British

They should be very reasonable. This of course depends on the vendor and coin.
I'd recommend starting with boldpreciousmetals.
If you're desperate for a design, Apmex has a good selection too, but pricier.

When a slice of bread becomes $1000 USD then the next day the same slice is $10000 USD, and gold and silver 50x - 100x, do you really want to liquidate? You would hold until the economy stabilizes and buy back into the market at rock bottom once a Gold / Precious metals standard is set. I would only liquidate partially if you absolutely have to for you and your family to survive if things do get worse.

I don't believe a mad max SHTF scenario will happen, but just very hard times with society keeping on.

Who's going to tell him, guys?

As for my experience gifting or exposing people to metals, it varies. Some appreciate it, but most make literally no comment of it whatsoever (beyond the obligatory "thank you for the gift"). It's so odd to me when people say absolutely nothing. They seem so completely disinterested to the point where they don't even want to waste their breath inquiring about it. It's as if a lot of normies view coins on par with something like stamp or postcard collecting. For people like that, I make no follow up effort to try and talk with them about PMs.

>>53574052
Generally speaking, yes. If your local currency crashes, then the price of everything shoots up, including PMs. Whether or not the people around you will begin using PMs as currency is uncertain. It happens in some places, sure, but I don't necessarily think everyone in every country would behave the same. Most people in the US don't even have any PMs and have no interest in them. If the USD collapsed over night, I'd wager most Americans would be begging for CBDC or whatever the government has to offer them as the new currency.

The Fed printed trillions of fiat during the pandemic and now stopped, hence why the dollar to gold & silver ratio is $0. It was much higher during the pandemic, in the thousands, for reasons mentioned above. Why did the Fed stop printing as much in relation to PM production? I believe its because they are switching to a CBDC behind the scene in real time.

I don’t think metals should be pegged in value.
Let free-floating coins value themselves, like Dirhams and Dinars for the Saracens, or Reales and Escudoes for the Spanish & New World.

Because the price gold and silver are being suppressed with derivatives being swapped on the market. Not only does this create opportunities to smash the price down to buy new annual contracts at a lower price, but it discourages people to not drop their fiat currency for decentralized money that cannot be inflated or destroyed by a central body.
