Did you do your taxes yet?

>> No.53532930

>>53532878
No. It's complicated thinking about all the crypto transactions and I'm a year late. I don't know how to do it without breaking the law so I'm delaying. Until I have free time to work on it

Not in America.

Not so much paying tax as just declaring it. They make sure it was already taken out of my paycheck and correct it if it wasn't.

I've had $7k (extra) taken from me over the last 11 years and I've never earned more than 30k a year so... yeah.

What?
Cost you paid for crypto - price you sold crypto for = your tax (separated by each year). If it's a negative number, that's your taxable amount owed at your tax rate.
Just do it all in USD (or whatever fiat) if that makes it easier to calculate.
Also, pretty sure BTC qualifies for long term capital gains in the US and some places don't even charge tax at all for long capital gains.

Taxes are easy, I don't think I did any crypto shit this year at least

But I'm doing my gfs taxes, she's self employed and I have no idea what to do, apparently she has to pay quarterly? Wtf does that even mean, she has no W-2
