What's next boys? Personally I think real yield DEFI, especially cross-chain, is gonna be big. I know a lot of people are saying AI, but I doubt it.

We will see if Serai comes to fruition. I've been following it. Luke Parker, the main dev, seems like a bit of a faggot though. Not sure I have much faith in him. Plus it is just a THORchain fork essentially, but coded in RUST. TC may add XMR before Serai even gets close to launching.

>> No.53456473

>>53456428
Also MorphSwap is stupid. It relies on oracles for price discovery. There is a reason why THORchain and Serai aren't doing that. Even small delays in accurate price discovery will cause exploits and funds being lost from the protocol. Its also not innovative. Anyone can make an oracle dex like that. MorphSwap is also shilled by pajeets here, don't fall for it.

if you look at real trends, there weren't very many in the past 15 years

2009- bitcoin, which is still the only strong asset in the entire market
2012-2014 a wave of "better than bitcoin clones" which all failed and never made any new highs against btc
2016-2018 ethereum made printing shitcoins easy, causing the ethereum and ico mania
2020-2022 a wave of "better than ethereum clones" which all failed and never made any new highs against eth simultaneously
and simultaneously we had the next wave of icos because they were effectively banned after 2018 in the form of nfts, and defi/yield farming which worked just as well as icos did for those that held them after 2017.

>> No.53456572

>>53456514
True. I think real yeild DEFI is inevitable though. As long as there is bitcoin and at least one other coin people want, then there needs to be a decentralized way to swap between them cross-chain. This will generate fees. And the fees will go to LPs and token holders. Essentially it will take the fees away from centralized exchanges like Coinbase and bring them into DEFI.

Look into the Adam guy who made the game. Guy’s a legit mathematical savant who made millions in early Dotcom work. Then he decided to fuck around make a Pokemon knockoff. Only the guy’s entire background was in economic modeling so the madlad made the most complete, sophisticated free-market capitalism simulator ever created.

If people understand what that game really was a lot more people would talk about.

Holy shit Neopets was so rad.
