The eye of a needle is the hard part to understand. As it can be interpreted as the smaller door at the entry way to a city which is human sized and in which a camel could only fit through if you stripped it bare, of all possessions. In this context the camel through the eye of the needle is possible but the lesson is that to enter the kingdom of god you cannot bring any material attachments. Meaning that you should not put anything above the lord. And to be ready to let go of it all to enter the kingdom of god.

it's not that it's impossible to make money without sinning, it's that placing money as your priority will often lead you to sin or compromise yourself in ways you wouldn't otherwise do. also, once you have the wealth, your fear of losing this wealth may push you to compromise your integrity down the line, "sunk cost fallacy" and all that.

for example, getting the clot shot to keep a comfy job. not exactly a sin, but the type of demoralizing compliance that makes going aginst your conscience normal.

and THIS is why I sit in my room all day and work as little as necessary. my laziness is only coincidental.

that said, if you're especially talented or committed to a craft, and don't make an idol of it, I don't see why working hard and getting rich would require you to sin. you just have to do it with vigilance and be honest with yourself, which is very hard and rare.

Can we be perfect? Was Jesus not sent to absolve us of our imperfections?
And the grander context. He was talking to a rich man who was claiming he did everything right but was not having spiritual success. Jesus recognised his material possessions were of great importance to him. That they were holding him back spiritually and the only way this man would enter the Kingdom of God would be the rid himself of these material attachments.
The lesson from this is much different to the interpretation you push forward.

Regarding sin (unrelated), before he began his ministry Jesus would buy wood to make something and then presumably jack up the price to sell it for more than he put into it. One assumes stuff like that isn't necessarily sinful, probably depending on the size of the markup and things like people's option to contract with other carpenters.
