I have some upper resistance (take profit) targets, and one important lower support. If that support breaks, then the bull thesis is invalidated. We can see this happen this happens soon because we have FOMC and earnings for tesla, facebook, microsoft, google, amazon, and apple coming up.

As things stand, I'd want to buy at 13-14 bucks, because it's right at support. If that breaks, I can dump without much loss.

Based on echo bubble thesis, meaning this assumes I'm right that BTC goes to 30-35k and drags along alts with it. That is invalidated if BTC loses ~19k. In other words, the current bullish thesis is based on the idea that crypto UNDID the damage done by FTX. It's fine if BTC goes back in the crab zone that preceded the FTX collapse, but if it falls below it, imo it's fucked.

Looks like I called LINK bottom a while ago. Bought around 6 bucks. Plan on holding until end of 2025, and selling in Nov at whatever the price is. But if you wanted to play it in the midterm with the assumption of an echo bubble, then around 20 bucks is probably a good place to take profits, and then buy back 6-8 bucks.

I made this QNT chart in Nov of 2021, and forgot all about it. Looks like it was pretty accurate. I guess a play with those levels in mind would be to see if it closes and finds support above 175 and if it does, then sell between 300-350. If it gets over that level, then QNT is a bear market runner, and it's probably fine to enter again, and sell if you see it close back below that red zone.

Yeah, I do, but I just look at charts. It's possible the macro goes to total shit, like when covid hit. Based on charts alone though, I think we see something like link related. It probably won't be exactly what happened in 2019, but something like it...My plan with my mid-term bags is to sell when I see btc between 30-40k, and buy back when I see BTC at 17-20k.

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/42VS8CIR-BTC-Long-View-UPDATE-3/

This thesis is invalidated if BTC closes back below the pre-FTX collapse range, i.e., 19k or so. It has no business below that level. Think about it. It took one of the biggest crypto happenings since mtgox to drive the price below it. Maybe we get another big happening and prices falls back below, but if that happens, then I know to sell my mid-term bags below 19k. Hopefully my alts are still in profit by then.

>> No.53434194

>>53434123
Yeah, I think that was the retrace. Could happen again, but I think that's a good level to enter, because if it closes below, then you know to get out without losing too much. Difficult to buy in now though.

It's not in the chart, but the echo bubble target for icp is around 20 bucks. I start selling at 10, and sell all my mid-term bags at 20. Then buy back between 5-8 bucks.

Who knows if there'll another black swan event. I just mapped it out based on 2019 because if the 4 year cycle theory is correct, then we're now in 2019 and we can expect an echo bubble. My parents account, which I play safe, is loaded with eth and link. At 10k, they can both retire. This past bull market, I managed to sell their eth at around 4600, and with that they paid off their house (or can, but they choose not to because they want me to play with their money).

There's tens of thousands of coins out there. Doing these free charts brings them to my attention. If you look at the Doge and QNT chart above, you can see I did them sometime in late 2021. Only problem is I forgot all about them, so I didn't play them well. This time around I'm saving these coins on my tradingview and will periodically look at them with the setups in mind. And anons are paying me back in a way by following me on twitter and tradingview. I'm hoping I'll have a big account by 2024-5 so that I can get some exchange to sponsor me. I mentioned above that when the FTX bullshit was happening, it came out that some "influencers" were getting paid 10s of thousands of dollars to sponsor exchanges...maybe I can get a piece of that action if enough anons follow me. It's a win/win, as I see it.

I hesitated to do this before, because I wasn't sure of my charts and didn't want to post them, b/c I didn't want anons losing money, but I think I got the hang of it now. A lot of my charts seem to have worked out pretty well.

Right now I have long term bags which I intent to hold and sell late 2025, and some midterm bags I want to sell on the basis of this "echo bubble" thesis.

Long term:
>eth
>link
>grt
>gmx
>prq for the lols since I made so much money on it last time around (bought at 1 cent).

mid-term, I'd rather not say because they're mostly low cap shitcoins and I don't know that they won't just die. I'd rather not recommend them.

>>53438376
Nothing stands out to me with lunc, but if I had to make a low confidence guess, I'd say sell at around 0.0003 and buy back at 0.00015 or so.

>> No.53438582

>>53438519
It was on the basis that nothing will be different this time around that I managed to predict BTC bottoming at around 15k on basically exactly the day it would happen...one year before it happened. I said bottom would be around midterms in 2022, and bottom was one day after that. The similarities between the last 3 cycles are undeniable. Stunning, really. What are the odds the last two cycles took exactly 1065 days from the bottom to the top...

But, then again, it's possible I'm wrong and we see new lows going forward. If that happens, then the model is invalidated.

What would the S&P or Nasdaq need to pump to for BTC to reach those levels? BTC won't get there without them pumping pretty hard which I doubt they'll do. I suspect you'll have to revise this in a few weeks when you realize those BTC numbers are unlikely in the first half of 2023. We'll see

Not sure. extrapolating from the last two bull markets, and suggesting we may get an "echo bubble." I have reason to believe the cycles are very similar to each other in the ways I've laid out in the chart OP posted.

1. It takes around a year for the price to find bottom.
2. After it bottoms, it takes BTC exactly 1064 days to top again.
3. After a bottom, BTC does not go on a sustained bull market in which previous highs are overtaken until after the halving (around 220 days from the halving).
4. After the bottom but before the halving, there's an unstained pump. <-- (I think we're here)

Think of the 4 year cycle theory as this:
After Bitcoin halves, it pumps for around 1.5 years.
After which it dumps and finds bottom after around 1 year.
It then moves sideways (with an echo bubble) for around 1.5 years until the next halving
Next halving prompts another 1.5 years of bull market.

he's assuming a 2019 like "echo bubble". have a look on the charts
it's after that run collapses that you see full depression in the market as many think... yes, yes we're finally back the bull as prices get higher... then yeah, a savage crash that takes out the last of the re dditors

I expect SPX to do this, but I understand this next week will be eventful, and may very well invalidate everything I posted above. If, however, after all the shenanigans that typically occur during earnings and FOMC (wicks both ways that take out both longs and shorts)--if after all that SPX STILL finds itself above that diagonal resistance, then I think it heads for the red zone
(4300 - 4500) before plunging back down.

I should mention as I often do in my telegram channel, that I learned most all I know from DonAlt and cryptoCred. I recommend those two guys to everyone I know, but they don't really use their method to chart anything but BTC, ETH, SPX and maybe a couple other majors. I can't speak highly enough about them.

Cred:
https://twitter.com/CryptoCred

DonAlt:
https://twitter.com/CryptoDonAlt

I've followed them for years now. Donalt in particular is incredibly accurate, and Cred has a serious of tutorials on his youtube page that everyone in crypto should watch. They also have a show called Technical Roundup on youtube on mon/wed/fri which I've been watching religiously. I'm not shilling anything. Everything they post is free. They had a paid newsletter, but they made it free after they got uberwealthy. I guess you'll have trust me when I say that I don't rip them off, but that my analysis (after years of learning from them) is often the same. The SPX chart for instance, which has served as the backbone of my crypto charts for this past year, is my own, but Don has basically the same levels of resistance/support.

Just charts. It's what I look at. I mean, I keep the macro picture and certain dates in mind for volatility, and I'm aware everyone is doom and gloom about the recession, but I just don't see the charts showing that at this moment. I do think SPX will have another major leg down this year, but right now it doesn't look bad. If they hike 50 points, then we're probably fucked, but if it's only 25, and next month's inflation comes lower again (and it looks like it will) then we have fuel for this echo bubble.

>>53441991
I honestly don't even consider that possibility. Money's not cheap right now, most have been wiped, no retail...I don't see a sustained pump as a real possibility...might happen, in which case I'd be pretty happy, since most of my bags are packed for the long haul.

Fair enough. I read it as he'll offload most around 10k as a prudent return, rather than trying to swing a dip (which I agree may be lower) before a 2025 climax. That's a 5x in 2 1/2 years with little downside.
I'm boomer-adjacent so I still think in SPY level returns.

If you look in my tradingview channel, you can find the telegram. Biz wouldn't allow me to post it here, cause it thought I'm spamming.

It's not really my channel, as in it's not oriented towards my charts, but a friend and I run it, and I post charts there like in this thread. It's more of an attempt to pool together efforts of people who chart, follow news, look at fundamentals and so on. I didn't make enough money to retire last time around, and so we started this channel to try and make the best out of the next bull market.

>>53450573
It looks ok. We'll see if it can close this week's candle above that support. That would be a good entry, and if it closes the next candle below it, you can exit without losing too much.

>It seems to me after doing a bunch of these charts that my thesis, to boil it down, is to buy alts that reclaim their June-Oct 2022 range, and sell the March 2022 range.

You see the same thing with HBAR. It's bullish right now because it "undid" the damage of the FTX collapse, and is now back in the range circled in blue. The time below it can be thought of as a deviation, like the time BTC spent below 6k in 2019. As long as it stays in that range, it's bullish. Once/if it loses that range, it'll probably dump back into support. The same thing goes for BTC. It got back to its June-Oct range, and it becomes bearish again if fit loses that range (i.e., below 19k).

Look at this. Explains it a bit better.

Fantom is pumping hard as hell. You already said to sell at $1-1.10, but do you think this pump is organic or manipulated?

And by gut feeling, how high do you see it go in the next serious bullrun? Can it really reach $16? (It's not even a 5x on its previous ATH)
Do you like it as a project? You think it's a long hold?

Great thread btw.

I think my TA has gotten better. I've been more accurate lately, but as I said before, all this TA I've done on this thread is fundamentally based on my interpretation of the 4 year cycle theory, see >>53441163

That's where I get this notion that we should see some kind of echo bubble this year, i.e., a pump that will not be sustained. Anyway, here's how I see ROSE, faggot. What messes this up is how much it pumped after the June crash, and how much it subsequently crashed after the FTX collapse. Ultimately, the chart looks like most of the other ones I've seen in this thread, except a bit more exaggerated.

>> No.53452060

>>53451873
thanks, that was pretty good.
I think the same thing, but I don't think it can pump to $0.11 before returning to support sub $0.04

a lot of coins just go as high as last ATH and no further. Look at LTC or XMR for instance. Past ATH I really can't say what a coin will do. That's where you might need people who do fundamental analysis, but even that's a bit of a meme in crypto, because most coins pump on narrative, news, memes and so on.

As to FTM's recent price action, keep an eye as to whether it closes above or below "Resistance 1." If below, I'd sell, and then buy back if I saw it close above. Keep in mind we're in a bear market, and a 2x from here is as good as you can expect...

>>53452680
I haven't though about staking rewards impacting price desu. As to chart, it's a low market coin, which means it can pump and dump hard. It's already done a 3x, which makes me uneasy, but if it can find support WITHIN the range, you can aim for the upper regions.

I've been monitoring TSUKA on my telegram for a while.
