Everytime I find an ant on the floor, I'll pick it up and drop into a spider web in the corner of the room. Within seconds the spider appears and starts attacking it and wrapping it up into a little ball. Sometimes there will be two ants and I'll toss them both in at the same time so he has to helplessly watch his ant friend get eaten. Does this make a bad person?

I actually saved a large house spider, took it outside, and i ran straight into the web of a Redback spider.... and the Redback spider instantly wrapped it up. The house spider was like 3X the size of the Redback.

Later on I felt the Redback spiders web, and it felt like fucking chicken wire, it was so fucking dense. FYI: Redback spider webs are like 100000X stronger than the average spiders web, they're so strong that their egg-sacs in the web are immune to bug-spray, and must be physically destroyed.

Yes, you're spoiling the spider and making life too easy for him. His children will be weaker as a result, because he lived a life in comfort and was fed ants and didn't have to hunt them. If you want the spider's children to be strong and ferocious and wild then don't help their parents live a comfortable life. Instead let them live a hard life full of challenges and hardships. In other words let the spider be hungry and let him find the ants himself. This will make him stronger and as a result his children in turn will be stronger.

Spiders are fucking metal. When I was young I watched a garden spider that chilled in a corner of my parents yard. After months of occasionally watching it, one day a small silver spider happened to be walking along and ran into it's web. The garden spider tried to wrap it up but the silver spider bit it right in the abdomen. I actually saw it all happen. What are the odds?

I was walking on the bike trail and their was a yellow garden spider that had it's carapace split open but was still alive. It probably got stepped on or run over. I held out a stick and the spider grabbed onto it and I moved it back to the woods. I wonder what happened to it.
