the advertising ecosystem Brave is trying to create is brand new. BAT's utility and function are new. People don't value BAT because it's centralized and the idea of giving it out for free seems too ridiculous/too good to be true, but it has lasted through at least 1 bear market and appears to be lasting through this one as well. Time will tell if it ever catches on but to write it off already is silly

The shit that's not on YT is UFO documentary level cringe. More fake than George Santos.

I like BAT because I see a new model for the internet. In a lot of ways it will be really unfair for creators. Some will make more if they have a legion of fans and many will make less. A lot of people that don't rely on direct revenue from ads will still make money from sponsorships. It's a basic rebalancing.

In the future I imagine a world where parents don't give their kids pocket money and tell them to install Brave and watch ads. Brave could become the hot new teenage thing with the next generation.
