Convential wisdom says in times of a recession, money will leave speculative assets, like what happened in dot com bubble.
This would suggest that crypto will dump heavily this year as layoffs intensify.
However, it is worth noting that in my opinion, I think most shitcoin holders will concentrate to stablecoins.
I think bitcoin and Ethereum will continue to crab until next year, while altcoins will dump hard

I keep buying these speculative assets even in hard times. I give no fucks if it goes to zero.

I see you would have shorted the bottom of that market too then.

I'm not shorting this market, I'm just saying I expect stablecoins to do much better in the next year than altcoins

I'm not short or long either. I think those methods are for true degenerates. My thoughts are that BTC will continue to rally into Q2 and only then will it start its descent revisiting 2022 lows. We could very well touch 13-16k, but I'd be buying heavy at that price anyway. As for altcoins and stablecoins: I'm staying away for now.

Hey fuckface, this would have been a controversial yet genius strategy to post about at the beginning of 2022. At the beginning of 2023 you’re just another reddit tranny that won’t think we’re in a recession until it’s in the bank’s and gov’s favour to tell you it is.

it could dump, but that's conventional crowd think.

> try to apply yourself anon.

why was bitcoin even conceived? what is its true purpose? it was built for precisely what is now happening in the world, recall it was the 2008 crash and bailout that spawned bitcoin.

> derp muh shitcoin crab derpa derpa

so the looooooong shot is that bitcoin decouples from the equities markets, it decouples from everything and becomes the goto safehaven of last resort.

if this happens, and i yield that this is unlikely, butt if it happens then 500k gonga be a drop in the ocean and hard pipe hitting nigz gonga make big money.. salvia...

aaaaaan POST!

Crypto aren't assets it's all poker chips. Check what happens with alcohol and gambling in times of recession
