Why do people keep falling for these obvious VC scams to cuck retail?

Because crypto "investors" are mentally retarded money. The space is completely unregulated, so an entity can sell literal teenagers tokens (they're like stocks with zero fiduciary obligation bro!) under the heavily implied guise that the protocols success (it usually does something nobody cares about or will ever pay real money for) will correlate with token value (it never does because the token isn't needed).

The anomalies are eth and bnb. It's used to gamble on other shit tokens, so it actually has some intrinsic value as long as people want to gamble. they're Caesar's Palace chips.
