If you fgts dont know sacred BBBY timeline or why PM is +20% today, here it is:

2 Jan - Final day of Ryan Cohen standstill agreement with BBBY
3 Jan - 9 months after baby tweet, teddy belt shit, etc you know drill
4 Jan - Bond offering final day
5-6 Jan - Final possible dates of Q3 report
--------------------------------------------------------

Arise now, arise, Riders of Théoden!
Dire deeds awake: dark is it eastward.
Let horse be bridled, horn be sounded!
Forth Eorlingas!

Arise, arise, Riders of Théoden!
Fell deeds awake: fire and slaughter!
Spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered,
a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!

This thread is dedicated to the glory of Jesus Christ, true God and true man. May he stand victorious today over the forces of evil, also in instance of BBBY. Godspeed anon!

which could be nice because GME pumped several times in the before their earnings so the same might happen with BBBY because it's about time for it to pump with that gamma ramp into 20 jan and RC/icahn might be doing things now that the standstill is over

Two things:
1. Case against BBBY has been bankrupcy. If this does not happen, its back with a bottom of $20-30, as its historical norm.
2. Case for BBBY now is not just its fundamentals in terms of sales and business, but business restructuring, M&A and such.

That is to say, people are not waiting just for sales figures. But, the only things required for BBBY bulls to have a 10-bagger case as bare minimum, is that BBBY as a business is doing at least subpar.

The employee subreddit has been talking about an increase in incoming shipments starting this month, as well as undefined "good news" from higher up. They've been closing the stores which were losing money, and with the bond/atm offering, the window for bankruptcy is getting smaller and smaller. All this is assuming there's no M/A, despite them hiring someone recently who's entire career has been high level M/A.

I had 21k shares, but had to do some capital loss harvesting so I don't get rekt on taxes this year. Now down to 15k, hope it keeps going down for the next 30 days so I can avoid wash sales.

If this is $2 or lower by EOM I will unironically take out a HELOC on my home and dump $80k into shares. BBBY is unironically the best investment anyone can make in the stock market imo at this time. Fundamentally and artificially undervalued

Q3 report which is coming on the 10th will likely show progress toward becoming cashflow break-even.

BBBY claims they will be cashflow break-even by Q4 (end of Feb).

Standstill agreement w/ RC Ventures ended today, so it's possible they announce a merger or something at the Q3 call next week which causes a squeeze like GME in January 2021.

I'd bet that we need to be on Reg SHO again for that to happen though.

Unfortunately that would be past the 20th expiry gamma ramp, I think it either happens between earnings and then, or it's a longer term play.

>> No.53118603

>>53118527
Gamma ramp is likely a nothing burger imo, unless there's a M&A announcement then the ramp won't matter. That being said... if RC Ventures announces something big this or next week related to BBBY then it'll unironically shoot to new ATHs with the ramp that we have.

Short's know about the ramp and fear it because of all the damage GME did to them. Like I said, we need Reg SHO. IF we run leading up to the Q4 results though then that could be enough FTDs to get them put back on Reg SHO... then with a positive cashflow Q4 it could be the killing blow to those short on this trade. (Reg SHO + positive cashflow = kek shorties?)

>>53118603
If it's a M/A deal then the price will just be stuck to whatever the buyout price is, which is related to the revenue more than current share price, so still easy money. If it's anything else and the price goes above $8, it will likely go parabolic. I feel like FTD's peaked a couple of weeks back, so I don't know how likely reg sho is before the 20th. The point is it's been hammered down so much now that literally anything could set it off.

Bought about 4K worth of shares this morning on robinhood. BBBY sells tangible hard products. There is a shopping experience for women. Im sorry but women want the physical shopping experience. Only shopping for women on Amazon eats up some time but lets be honest women want to do the gal pal time at the mall and buy stuff it is in their nature and they can't help them selves at all.

Yeah they do, and anyone short will lose a lot of money, but my understanding is it won't go past the buyout price. That might be different with the sheer amount of shorts though. Nice on the FTD's.

based, I spoke to my in-laws this Christmas about GME and the short & distort campaign that's been run against retail companies over the last 2 decades.

They didn't give a fuck about GameStop, but when I mentioned Bed Bath and Beyond my mother in law actually freaked out. Apparently, she shops there exclusively for home stuff, all the women her age do. She asked what they can do to stop it from going out of business and my father in law bought like 20k shares this AM lol.

More people care about BBBY then they do GME, GME is/was the trailblazer for DRS though and if it that gets hold on BBBY... oh boy.

They don't, it just makes it harder to raise capital via ATM offerings. They have bonds due in 2024 and the deal to convert them is still unresolved, but that's probably the earliest possible time. If the share price goes below $1 for a month it could get delisted, but there are a lot of ways to mitigate that. The key points here are the 7 Billion in revenue and massive brand awareness. It's simply not priced correctly.

BBBY and GME is only two non-BCG compromised basketstocks, and incidentally, the only two RC shows interest in.

As for his recommendation in the letter, read it for yourself. They are doing everything he recommends. The only thing we havent seen yet, is M&A. Give it a week and 2 hours, and we know whats up.

As for "only stock" rhethorics, yes GME is the assymetrical risk identified by SEC. But i think of it this way; shorts have short exposure to basket, this is why its called basket. It correlates like 90%, up and down. GME is not easy to move right now, its not very liquid and movement requires hefty news to move the entire cap. BBBY is small as shit and at this point, almost any good news will send it high. BBBY is the trigger, GME is the dynamite. Kaboom. Sorry for sounding like redditor, im not.

The bullish thing is, tue is T+2 from fri. If RC announces something from now to fri, options will go parabolic, and when exercised the buy-ins of tuesday will be nuts. In addition to the actual Q3. That could very well be the trigger for rest of basket liberation, including especcially GME.
