every time i am on /g/ and read how shit the job market is for programers i laugh and think how lucky i am to be in a different field but when you work longer than half a year in a different branch of the economy you realize that it's all the same everywhere.
jobs get outsourced, the wages drop with inflation, and dou get treated like shit everywhere. house prices exploded so hard that i will never own a house and companies everywhere raise the prices together and the standard of living is declining in the west so fat old guys can buy more yachts. where do we go from here? what does the future hold for us?

Population is rapidly growing, it will only get worse. Wait until AI takes over 90% of jobs, the future is so bleak. Luckily not in our lifetime.
