things are getting pretty, pretty bleak but whenever i want to feel just a little bit better i imagine waking up sometime in the next "2 weeks" only to learn that that Ripple settled with SEC, XRP is being relisted on major exchanges in US and the price is going gangbusters ($4+!).

my greed has been my downfall the past 2 years. hoping for a favorable ripple lawsuit outcome may be a bit naive but fuck i have nothing else.

sounds like when I was 19 and randomly bought levered natural gas ETFs and kept averaging down until I lost 90% of my money in the span of 6 months. I would wake up every morning hoping there was a polar vortex in the weather models and a new ice age

yeah eventually I realized I was dumb, sold it for the -90% and learned the valuable lessons of "bagholding" and "knife catching".

fast forward 8 years later to today and I make 20k a month trading stocks/bonds/FX. Wouldn't have grown if I didn't accept defeat and learn from my mistake (:
