It's not a bad exchange at all. Probably will still be around when the tether-related criminals and all the other chinese scamchanges fold.
Just sad that they keep being disastrous at marketing and that they fucked up their own token beyond repair

Exchanges don't need tokens. They need to keep balanced books and take a reasonable cut of trades, the foolishness gets them in trouble.

You're right, and that's the problem. The token illiquidity has created a community of (mostly third-world, particularly slavland) bagholders who think that, if they can just spread enough negativity, Kevin Murcko will magically conjure up an Arab billionaire to buy all their tokens from them at 60c. Which is the opposite of normal bagholders- who of course go around shilling in the hopes that some normie will take them. So now any advertising is fucked by all the negative sentiment and the entire thing has become the tail wagging the dog.

Tbf, I was checking out INX (who? Exactly) who raised 10X as much and it has even worse advertising. Also that Thiel exchange, which raised 100X and is somehow even worse than that. Every CEX that hasn't either used the washtrading/Tether/dodgyKYC combo or already existed before 2017 is failing to launch- with the exception of CDC, which absolutely is insolvent (~$70 user acquisition cost, average user buys $40 of Doge and never trades again). So advertising spend just isn't the winning play here. Coinmetro has a great referral program, they should be coaching users through how to best use it.

Fiat onramp. Its literally cheaper to send fiat to cm and then withdraw crypto to another exchange if one wants to.

Except binance exists... And Coinbase, and kraken, and any other tier one exchange is cheaper to onramp

I’m banned from Coinbase. Binance is shady as fuck and very slow last time I used. They also withdrew my KYC randomly. Kraken I just dont like using, in 2020 it was a horrible experience ime.

well enjoy paying higher onramp fees for whatever reasons those are... no rational person will join you lol

maybe try not being a criminal and you won't be barred from exchanges

I’m not a criminal.
Coinbase are cunts.

The onramp fees aren't higher. That's a lie. Also, the fact that you can guaranteed off rampant from Coinmetro (unlike, say, Binance) counts for a lot too
