Sam Bankman-Fried gave $79.8 million to political campaigns and committees, but those who received the money may have to return it as the company tries to pay back its creditors. That’s because bankruptcy courts often let companies claw back the money that they have given to others in the two years prior to filing for bankruptcy. Even the political candidates who received money and told USA TODAY that they have donated the money to charity could be forced to give it back. Despite the good intention behind it, the bankruptcy estate may come calling.

GOD this is fucking hilarious.
The second-biggest single donor to the Democrats, and they may have to give it all back.
Wouldn't get my hopes up though.

Also, isn't it funny how they arrested SBF just days before he had to testify under oath before Congress?
No prosecutor in their right mind would stop a prospective arrestee from testifying under oath.

>implying political grifters will force other political grifters to pay back their stolen funds
They'll just delay this until 2027 and nobody will ever pay back a dime

Funniest thing is that clawback will be applied to donations and SBF parents’ estate cause those were made with fraudulent intentions, either to ransack company funds, either to bribe politicians in order to benefit the bankrupt company
But they cannot really be applied to the Binance 2.1B shares buyback, that’s a legit financial operation, and it was made in times were there were no doubts about FTX solvency (and it was more than 90 days before filing)
But judges are kikes so who knows

kek, allegedly SBF donated an equal amount to Rs, but he used dark money routes as to not piss off shitlib journalists and blue checkies. I doubt much of that money is going to be clawed back.
End result: SBF is simultaneously fucking up optics and finances for Dems and their """charities""" while giving billions of safe dark money to their main political rival.

as long as enough records exist to finger them, it will be clawed back, they won't have option to decline

Delusional.

SBF will walk of free.

Everything has been planned from the beginning and everyone played their part.
