these are all free tools everyone has access to btw, it's not even complicated. even the Awesome Oscillator is just something that I changed a bit of code on so I could set what MA and MA length i wanted but it's still the same indicator as the default one (which works on a 5/34 SMA i believe).

i decide trades based on how i think fundamentals and macro will develop, pick longer time frames for trades & somewhat secure assets (not just stocks) that are collateralized by stuff that matters to governments. no options for the most part, except occasionally as a hedge for stuff i didn't anticipate.
longer time frames reduce market fuckery induced volatility and give you a serious edge, because markets tend to be pretty bad at making good long-term predictions. + you have an immediate advantage over everyone else who is time-constrained, e.g. people who only buy options.
i do use TA, but only to both filter noise in charts and add other external sources of information to them. e.g. volume is helpful, but absolute volume bars suck at making low and high volume situations obvious. so i run mostly my own scripts to extract the information i want.
all the juice is in predictions for macro & fundamentals, not finding the optimal entry point or short term swing trading. high frequency firms easily beat every faggot in this thread who uses some pre-built momentum strategy at that game. you might as well go outside and use your time on more valuable things at that point.
