It's an active effort.
Some pools become diluted, then you find the next one.
You lose some to IL, you lose some to fees and bridges. It's a hassle at times.
But you can check historical data on YS and see that it would have worked in the past, and there's no reason not to work in the future, especially if those linkies in circulation become staked (so there's less competition for the fees).
