old /biz/anon here, haven't visited the board in some time... couldnt find a thread on btc prospecting / blockchain surfing, so i thought id start one
anyone still doing this profitably? i remember some days finding upwards of ~$5000 in unclaimed btc on the blockchain
ill bet lots of people use bots n shit these days, but back when i was doing it, people would surf the blockchain manually employ different strategies (cluster searches, batching, etc)
i also remember some guys were making bank finding 'stuck transactions' but i never really got into that

Some weeks I make more surfing the blockchain than I do at my wagie job lmao but it's too inconsistent to be your primary source of income

You have 5 minutes to explain yourself properly

its simple man
people try to buy BTC through fiat on-ramps
but they forget to actually claim the BTC
and so it sits on the blockchain unclaimed
ripe for the picking

BTC prospecting is a fucking meme.

i mean maybe it's more saturated these days
too much competition etc
but hardly a "meme"

If it isn't a meme, can anyone link a decent how-to-do-it? I'm bored at work.
