There's no precedent for it. Anything can happen, but im willing to call their bluff. I have 300 shares in CS too, but the whole reasoning for prices going to astronomical heights are due to people refusing to sell their phantom shares. If even 1 phantom share still exists, that means shorts haven't closed, and until shorts close the price will still soar to heights beyond imagination. If all phantom shares are rugged by brokers put of our accounts then only real shares will be left, but real shares aren't what are absolutely NEEDED to close shorts. But anything could happen because it's all uncharted territory. I've explained this half a dozen times but when margin call happens all shares have to be bought back, all of them, even the fake ones currently being held by people because way more than what exists for the stock is shorted, making fake shares.
This introduces infinite risk due to margin call, as they have to ASK you what price you want to sell YOUR share at they can't take from you if you DRS'ed.
You own the share, it's yours, if margin calls, you get YOUR price.
So tell me anon. What's YOUR sales price?
If you want to hold for some sort of group price go right the fuck ahead but at least hold ONE share in the hole for that calls, and if it goes through properly, which no laws exists to cuck it as of yet, you win!

If GME squeezes and makes every ape a septillionaire on paper, why would any financial institution honor your price and hand over all their money? It makes more sense that shorts go broke and their losses get written off while brokers limit the security to sell only until price stabilizes. That's exactly what happened already. If GME moons to nonsensical levels it would make the whole market insolvent theoretically. Even at the time, there were people saying that it would neither squeeze to outer space nor go back to previous levels but hang around indefinitely as a massively overvalued meme stock, and that's what happened. Bagholding retail and leveraged shorts were both priced in so the stock no longer trades based on fundamentals but around this risk factor.
