Financially speaking, what’s the best area of the US to live these days? I’m from the east coast and always fantasize about moving out west. Seems way more wide open, has more natural beauty, more white people and less fat people overall. I’m thinking of a state like CO, WY, NM, MT, ID, or UT. Is it really better than the eastern US or do I have grass is greener syndrome? I live in Virginia and place kinda sucks desu

This is true and why I hate it. If I’m gonna live in bumfuck it’s gotta be cheap, but here you can drive 2 hours away from DC into WV or rural VA and any decent house with land is 700k+

I just moved from Maryland to the mountain west. If you're white and can handle the cold it's better, however I can't afford to buy here either. It's a high trust white community and it's something that I've never experienced on the east coast. If you need hustle and bustle with Amazon prime shipping, stay on the coasts.
