You are posting in a Jew thread.

yeah really big news, the july blogpost said that this was going to come in v1 but now it's here for v0.1
was not understanding so of linkpool's recent hinting but there is goes
with the this 1-2 year lockup bs linkpool's liquid staking is going to be very attractive
linkpool will be the new lido
don't see any other competitors yet, they have a big first mover advantage

OH NO NO NO NO NO

Will lpl holders get part of the 50k link pool staking rewards or do we have to stake the link as well?

>> No.52554177

>>52554063
>Chainlink straight up says LinkPool is an experimental project that has nothing to do with official staking
>poolers: this is bullish!
amazing

not sure but i'd assume both, ie get more the more you stake
this will be probably be really low to begin as only 50k per node
but they are talking about "high quality node operators" using it so be quite a bit of capacity
then in time nodes will probably need 150k (scaling from 25m to 75m) so could be quite nice

this was always going to be the case though? just like etherum lsds like lido and rocketpool

>> No.52554289

>>52554249
Oh yeah I remember you guys saying this was always going to be the case when you were constantly going on about how LPL holders would be the only ones able to stake during Chainlink's earliest, most profitable period.

some of the more low iq people were saying yeah but certainly not most
what most thought would be that chainlink staking would just allow nodes to stake link but that for retail to be involved you'd need a third party staking mechanism
that's exactly what has happened but then sergey for whatever reason pivoted and introduced community staking in the june announcement
maybe decentralization theatre i don't know
anyway, there was lots of fud in telegram (main place for discussion) as linkpool seemed frozen out until v1
very nice to see it good to go from v0.1
