i dont think the same, price decline will make miners who are on profit sell all his bitcoin while they can, knowing the inevitable, they dont want to be the last large miner selling because they know it generate a cascade down, finally some miners can survive, but a big cost, bitcoin is now a lot more centralized, i hate ethereum, but they realized of this problem.
