What does your parents think about cryptocurrency?

My mom thinks it's a scam because of spam emails she receives about it.
My dad thinks it's too late to get into it at all. He told he me he "bought some bitcoin stock" around when it was 35k though but we haven't talked about it since.

lmao my parents are just thrilled I still talk to them occasionally. Dad's ruined his relationship with all his other kids (over politics) and Ma's gone hard into religion and every discussion winds up theological. It helps somewhat that I'm very firm about insisting I'm not that wealthy and I'm borderline insane from the esoteric knowledge I've absorbed over the last decade. But it also helps that they're anti-vax.

My parents don't know what crypto is but overheard my siblings ask about it and me insist that I don't own any, despite living a most suspicious wine-aunt style of nomadic travel.
