How do you go about to find a good trade? Do you just follow a couple of assets and see if they form something. Perhaps breaking resistances and go long or short? How does one find trades?

If your day trading, you look for a pair with good volatility. In FOREX you can usually find a published list of top most volatile pairs . Maybe i have a dozen pairs i watch including oil and gold.

Exotic pairs usually have shitty spreads, and less leverage.

Identify the trend, Bull, Bear, Range.
Identify Support resistance.
Wait for trade entry.

I dont like break out trades myself, Id prefer to short the top of a pullback to resistance in a bear, or buy the dip on support with a bull. In a crap the top and bottom of the range
